I saw an earlier post of an Army regimental insignia and it inspired me to share one I am proud to have worked in. This is Prime Base Engineer Emergency Force (BEEF). Air Force Civil Engineering squadrons around the world support the Prime BEEF mission of being deployable anywhere in the world within 24-hours notice. Prime Beef is designed to build and support expedient air bases anywhere with only a runway and source of water (that normally being supplied by USAF Red Horse...similar to the Navy SeaBees). Our primary goal was to recover 5,000' of runway after an attack to ensure we could recover military fighter jets. I will definitely be incorporating this on my OBX...someway. Are there any other Prime BEEFers out there?
