I dont know about anyone else but i love my music when im driving around. Especially a good sounding subwoofer. I just wish that there was a way to get the upgraded speakers without upgrading to the lux because while i really like the upgraded speakers i dont know if they are worth pushing me over my budget because otherwise theres not much else that i find to be overly attractive in the lux package. Does anyone share this opinion or am i being cheap

For the longest time, I convinced myself I needed the Lux Package. Now, the High Package will be fine for me. The cost was a barrier and then the possibility of it being a limited commodity was the tipping point. I do like music in my truck and sometimes I just leave my EarPods in after a gym workout. I may try that approach when the roof is off. Within the Lux Package, I really wanted the heated steering wheel. But now I can always wear a pair of Bernie Mittens.

I'm going Lux, mainly for the stereo, even if it isn't all that great. I had the upgraded system in my Mustang and it was good enough for me. There is also the JBL soundbar in the accessories list if you want to go with that. It mounts the the rear overhead bar, but it does not come wired. I think it was $600.

Yeah I was looking at the lux too than I started having to find places to cut so I could keep in my price range. While the heated steering wheel is amazing I live in North Carolina so while it gets somewhat cold it’s not terrible so I couldn’t justify there. The evasive steering is nice and I will use it on my parents truck when we are driving long distances. I only use it because the trucks longer and wider but it actually gets annoying for every day use so couldn’t justify there and basically it’s just the audio. If the lux came with the leather seats and power adjustable seats than I would be all in but it dosent. So looks like I will see how it is for a while and once I have some money built up again I will see about some aftermarket audio if I’m not happy with the system

That was my original plan as well but than I got down and looked at the price so I started to have to make cuts and now I’m going to try out the basic system and see how I feel bad maybe down the road I will do something aftermarket

I'm going to wait and see what Crutchfield comes up with for upgraded speakers and maybe an amp only if the stock system doesn't make it.

Yeah I’m hoping that the speakers at the end of the day won’t be a let down so it’s not high on my priority to upgrade. But I guess we will wait and see who knows maybe something will change In the 22 year because I’m more than likely not going to be even close to getting the 21

Upgrading the stereo is number two on my list of priorities, right after getting a ppf wrap fully across the hood and sides with ceramic coating. Then stereo - likely some Focals, an amp, and much upgraded sub. After the stereo I will tackle an air compressor (hopefully under the hood).

+2 for Crutchfield. They'll be all over this thing.

I'd like to know more about that sound bar as well. Does it seamlessly integrate, etc...

I’ve got my 98 Jeep that is built to handle anything off-roading so luckily I’m going to be able to contain myself from throwing my entire paychecks at the bronco in upgrading it for off-roading hopefully I can keep myself from doing to much till the warranty expires

I imagine it’s going to be like the Jeep sound bar it will probably bolt around the roll bars and than you just have to figure out how to run the wire to the proper place

Yep. Aftermarket speakers will blow even good factory speakers out of the water.
the one thing I want to know is are the factory speakers waterproof since I have the washout interior. I know I can get some waterproof AM speakers.

Ha! I hear that! Since I likely won’t get mine from the factory until mid 2022, I’m planning on buying parts and pieces over the next year so they’re all ready to go. I’m looking at trail lights, rotopax, radios, and maybe some Explor glazing window protectors as well if they come out with a bronco version. The kids are gonna have to wear their old shoes for a while..... =].

I would hope there water resistant at least so they could handle rain. I imagine there not meant to get hit directly with the hose or submerged.

I sadly couldn’t find a way to get the Sasquatch package in to my budget so the first things in my list is probably a lift and some bigger tires but that probably won’t be for a few years

Same here dude. I love the sound from a good stereo and sub. I kept my order with the standard package as I wanted to keep the $ down. I will see what aftermarket stuff comes out and maybe just add a hidden sub or upgrade the speakers to one with built in mini sub in them. I imagine those speakers in the rear on the roll bar will have aftermarket upgrades available.

That’s my thought process too I’m just hoping there going to be good enough for a couple of years till I can just go all out and upgrade it all In one go

FWIW- I have replaced the Ford Factory speakers in every blue Oval product I have ever owned (14 and counting) with exception of my wife's Lincoln. I do not understand why, but they sure like to cheap out on speakers. A good set of aftermarket ones are superior and more than worth the cost and time. Crutchfield has a pretty good selection of Marine grade and waterproof speakers. I ran those in my jeep back in the day and they worked fine. I kept shorting out the aftermarket head unit, but hopefully the Bronco unit will solve that problem.

Agreed. I replaced the wife’s Bose speakers in her LTZ suburban with middle of the road AM speakers and it was an improvement.
