Updated the rear speakers - Mabett 6.5" pods with 6.75" Kicker speakers

A while back I replaced all the speakers in the worthless B&O system with JL audio up front and Focal 4" in the back, along with the Stinger 12" tailgate mounted sub woofer, but there was a huge gap in sound because most of the speakers are 4", and then the huge 12" sub .. I needed more 'mid' range sound... of course there were no options for mounting 6.5 or 6.75" speakers in the back at the time I did that... now there is.. so I got the Mabett speaker pods for the back... what a HUGE improvement - and this is without an amp running these speakers. Huge improvement.

Wow I didn’t realize how much bigger the new pods are. Looks good I need to get these even though I haven’t decided on the speakers I want yet.
Now I have to "upgrade my upgrade" too!
I already put 4" infinity speakers in the back with bass blockers, and a Kicker 200.4 amp in, I hope when I reprogram the amp after changing out the speakers (again) with the included Kicker mic/software it will make even a bigger difference.
Got any links for your upgrades? Guessing you shopped around...

Ordered the pods and kicker 6.5s on Amazon I'll let everyone know what I think of the sound after I retune/re-progam the 200.4 amp for them.
BTW $280 for the set of pods/speakers. Not cheap but I am still in search of better sound....
AND my upgraded 4" pods with bass blockers will be for sale directly after with factory plugs, they did make a difference..PM me if you are interested

Installed the new rear pods and 6.5 speakers today: what difference!!
Easy install took 1 hour for both, fit was good just tweaked each new bracket slightly to fit the curve of the pods a little better. Turned up the gain on the 200.4 rear channel and I finally have real sound coming from the back speakers! $280 pods and speakers on Amazon. Worth every penny to me.
