Two or Four Door?

I have ordered a four door Bronco hard top, but now I really like the looks of the 2 door. I was curious what 2 door owners thought. Are you happy with your decision or do you wish you had a 4 door? Is the back seat cramped? Is there a shorter wait time for a 2 door hard top? I wonder if I change my order do I keep my same spot in the order format or do I go to the "back of the line"?

Still "patiently waiting" for my Bronco :)

Love my 2dr and I wouldn't change a thing. The only thing that bothers me is the small gas tank but I can live with it.

Welcome Kelli to BN!
You will find lots of great people here with lots of good answers for you. I have a 2 door on order since 3/23/21 and I will tell you that if you switch to a 2 door you more than likely will be waiting a lot longer, "however" it is really hard to say since the 4 door you have on order also has a hard top. You can change your order all the way up till you get a VIN.
I have sat in the back of a 2 door, I am 5'11" and I thought there was an adequate amount of room.
I would say as long as you do not have any of the Constraints other than the Hard Top you might find yourself in pretty good shape on getting your Bronco a lot sooner than what you have heard.
Good Luck in getting that ride you want rather it being the 4 door or the 2 door.

I didn't think about that. What size is the gas tank in the 2 door?

Do you really need 4 doors for that extra whore?

welcome btw, and get a 2dr, it portrays youth and keeping true to its roots vs a Flex with a removal top/doors and a stick

If you can, find a dealer that has a 2dr that you can test drive. Nothing like seeing them in person.

Love my 2 door! I’ve driven both and the 2 door is a lot more fun to drive with the shorter wheel base. If you’re hauling kids everyday it would get old having them climb in the back, but otherwise the 2 door is the way to go.

Thought I really wanted a 2D, I’m glad I went 4D. for me, its the room/storage. The 2d is like a day trip vehicle, the 4d is like the weekender. Got a wife and big dog, with all of our stuff, glad i got the 4d

Just wondering if you think you are getting better gas mileage with a 2 door then what you see everybody else getting with a 4 door?
I would think that it would be getting better gas mileage since it is a little lighter.
Any thoughts!

Things to consider, it is not as simple as 2 more doors or a 2 dr (3 door) versus a 4dr (5 door): Gas tank, the 2dr is smaller than the 4 door; access to rear seats is tough in the two door, just is. No big deal if you won't have passengers. A little less leg room and less rear storage. 2 door is a 4 seater, 4 door is a 5 seater.
2 dr vehicles get molded in cup holders on all trims and levels in the rear. 2 door has longer doors and the pillar is set back which seems to a big plus to the larger people out there.
2 dr is only available with a hard top from the factory which could mean a longer or much longer wait over a 4 door with the soft top selected. But this is not clear cut. If crawling is your thing, the SAS equipped 2dr has a significantly higher break over angle. Approach and departure angles are similar.

So, basically like trim levels and options, people really should be honest with themselves and decide what is best for them... Of course, that is not what people do, they buy and accessorize for looks not functionality more often than not......

To me the Bronco should always be a 2 door. Feel the same way about Jeeps. However there is no denying the sales power and practicality of a 4 door. Jeep obviously proved this. That being said. I ordered a 2 door.

Only way Id ever consider a 4dr is if i had a family and we didnt have it in the budget for personal vehicles

that or if I was constantly using all the seats.

You dont fit either requirement, why get the extra doors, costs and weight

I know, I had to travel over 100 miles to test drive one before I bought my 2dr. Good luck my friend. At the very least find and test drive a 4dr to see if you like it.
