Sad news from the Overland community to report. TurtleBack trailers has announced the immediate halting of all production for their trailers for 2023 and have essentially shut down their website.

I had been researching that brand quite extensively. They were a little pricy but nice.

Yeah they were pricey, but compared to other trailers of the same caliber, they were competitive.

I was absolutely considering one, but guess that’s not happening any more.

That is sad. It is really sad that this is the first time I have heard of them. I did a lot of research on trailers before I started building mine, and never happened to find them.

They were on our radar too for a trailer, bummer! There are so many trailer builders out there right now - unfortunately this won't be the only one to close up shop.

Patriot Campers are probably the best built for off road use, yes very expensive so you have to know that you're going to use it a lot.
2023 Badlands 2.7 Sasquatch, Hi Lux, Leather, Eruption Green, 4 door soft top. First day reservation holder, 933 days later I finally received in February 2023!

It’s really hard to compete with the scale of the really big RV manufacturers when they decided to build smaller trailers… unfortunately it forces these smaller businesses out, which is too bad, because in my experience the quality of the small shop rigs is so much better…

Patriot Campers are probably the best built for off road use, yes very expensive so you have to know that you're going to use it a lot.
For the price of a Patriot I could buy a second Bronco and build a bed in the back for sleeping

The big rv companies really aren't in the Overland game yet

I was looking at em too, also looked at Hiker. With my parents we ended up ordering a Campinawe trailer. It should ship out next week.

That is why I am building my own overlanding trailer. I put it on the back burner for a bit because I have been spending all my spare time doing fun stuff in the Bronco.
Not really an Overlander but they do build one with higher suspension the SUV model and I can tell you this these are the best built trailers.
