Tow Hooks, How to install shackle hooks?

For the standard and capable bumper, I believe you would need to remove the plastic bumper, and either paint the recovery point in place, or unbolt them from the frame and have them painted or powder coated

I assume you’re speaking of the capable bumper. The “shackle hook“ can be painted or powder coated a similar color the car or your choice. If you’re going to use those for recovery points I would personally go for a soft shackle.

What he said!!! Somebody will eventually fab something up that’s a little more mainstream/ industry standard recovery point that can be functional with the gear we have and colors we like! The aftermarket is just ramping up for these vehicles. In a couple years it will start to look like the jeep scene.
