The issue I am having is: I can’t post a photo to a new thread that I create.
But, I am able to post a photo whenever I reply to an existing thread.
It’s a clunky work-around, but until the site is fixed, I know what I need to do.

If you want to max out on the available image area on the page, click on the little ruler icon when the photo is uploaded. A window will open that shows the default pixel size. Highlight the type in the box and then type "full." Then click enter. It will adjust the image to fill the page window. You can also specify a pixel size of your own if you want to control the size of the photo in the window.

I noticed the same thing about wanting to include photos with a new post. You have to go back in and "edit" the post by adding images afterward.

I ran across the same issue yesterday. Ended up creating the post with preparation for photos, posting, then went back and edited the post, which allowed the photos to attach.

Yeah I have the same issue. I've been messaging @Platform Support on the side with all of my website issues (of which there are plenty). I caught the issue while screen recording and provided the video of the issue happening. So they know it is an issue, just gotta give them time to figure it out and fix it.
