I thought it was strange to see this video from TFL about people confusing the Bronco with the Bronco Sport. I guess I am just so consumed by everything Bronco it never occurred to me that others don't know the difference.

I hear "I saw a Bronco" from people all the time. I try and explain but some people just don't get it. I do like the sport, and think it's got it's place in the Bronco family. I just wish there would've been a little more separation from the Bronco.

I wonder how the public see the Bronco and Bronco 2 back then? Why not call the Bronco Sport the Bronco 2?

I asked a few buddies and they believe the issue is that the Sport just has Bronco across the front of it in the grill. The general public sees that and just assume that is the new Bronco everyone has been talking about.

We've had our Bronco Sport since early Jan. Every day I get asked if that's the new Bronco...I explain the difference cheerfully and talk up the Sport. It does say Sport under Bronco in the back, but Ford probably could have done something more distinctive on the sides and front to reduce the confusion. We really do like it a lot; nicely done vehicle that fills a niche for Ford. Then I usually end the conversation by adding that the larger Bronco will be along sometime this summer and that I'm hoping to get mine before the end of the year (gosh I hope so!).
