Hi London!

Happy Taco Tuesday to you! I celebrate on occasion, and you have inspired me to celebrate today. I like a street taco kinda vibe with toasted corn tortilla, carne asada, cilantro, onion, and lime. I may actually snag some birria tacos today because those sound good. Should we have a Taco Tuesday selfie contest? Cheers! 🌮🌮🌮🌮

Hi London, we do taco Tuesday’s every once an awhile. My wife doesn’t eat red meat, so if she is joining me, we sauté chicken or any white fish in medium Pace picante sauce. Then add shredded cabbage and cheese on top. Fast and easy recipe that you can make out camping, trailing or at home. It’s great made with fresh caught fish on shore.

I love Taco Tuesday! It's hard to find a bad taco. My recent try has my family loving it.
Chicken Tacos:
1lb chicken cut into cubes
season to your liking, we use salt, pepper, chicken bouillon, or fajita seasoning
corn tortillas
home made pico de gallo:
chopped up tomatoes
chopped red onions
chopped jalapenos
chopped cilantro
Cook the chicken, heat up oil, put cooked chicken, cheese, and pico in tortilla and fry.
I'm not very good at recipes, I sorta eyeball everything. I also like making a corn salsa to go with it.
4 ears of corn (grill until charred)
cut off corn
1 chopped jalapeno
half chopped red onion
1 to 2 juiced limes
salt, pepper
splash of olive oil
squeeze of honey
half bunch of chopped cilantro
mix all together.

My diet limits red meat, so I use ground turkey instead of beef, can't tell the difference from beef ,except there is no greasy fat floating on it or I'll swap chopped grilled chicken.

I thought this was going to be about Toyota Tacomas. Thank goodness you're talking about something near and dear to my heart... FOOD! :geek:

I'll have to root around for a taco recipe. I must have one somewhere. They're a guilty pleasure.

Birria tacos are the best! There's a little local place here in the SCV that makes the best one's I've ever had, and that includes in Mexico. Traditionally, the meat in them should be goat. I like the goat, but the idea seems to turn off some Americans, so now I see them made with all kinds of different meat. At my favorite place that includes Chorizo, Adobada, Asada, Bistek,Buche, Cabeza, Carnitas, Lengua, Pastor, Polo, Suadero. So, lots of options. Personally, I like the "original".

I looked but couldn't find a recipe per se. But, I did recently have tacos with leftover ground beef in sloppy Joe sauce, to which I added "taco seasoning," which really made for some delicious tacos. The sauce helped things stick together, which is kind of helpful when trying to eat tacos, especially hard shell tacos! 🤤
