SYNC 4 Apple CarPlay review from a 2021 F-150, is this what we can expect for the Bronco?

Not when you are chasing them and already have a cell, iPad, and/or laptop going to find the best position. :)

I am running Sync 3 on my F150. Several months ago, I upgraded the system software and data as recommended by Ford. It was available as a service via Ford dealers, but I enjoyed doing the process myself. I do like how Sync 4 will allow for over the airways updates. That is an improvement.

Although I am running the latest version of Sync 3, it is not great. I find the response time slow. Sounds like Sync 4 may be twice as fast.

One feature I use often on my Sync 3 is the “Home” icon in the top left corner of the screen. I did not see an equivalent feature on Sync 4.

One annoying aspect of the updated Sync 3 is the sound quality of the navigation commands. Pre-update the voice was more low pitched, now it is more high pitched which is more difficult for the average listener. The best way to visualize that issue is to say the following two word with identical volume, “Truck”, “Ship”. Many listeners may hear “Chip” when the word is “Ship”. Once you develop an ear for this, you find these kinds of systems very annoying. My Sync 3 navigation commands are very annoying!

Apparantly it also works for Android users with wireless Android Auto....

Try Sync 2 lol... I have this in my Explorer and Sync 3 is way faster than what I deal with.

Hahaha.

Symc 1 is Dial up and push button. Sync 2 is touch screen with some hard buttons. Comparison is first iteration of cable internet. lol

My parents Edge (2015 I think) has the sync 1. When I saw it for the first time I had trouble even seeing the tiny lettering on the screen. I woul hate to use that for backing up! I guess I've been spoiled by the 8 inch screen in my 19 F150
