So I found a killer deal on a complete set of Bilstein 6100's for my non Sasquatch Badlands 2dr. I will be getting them slapped in next week but I need to figure out what clip position I want to use. I am not really looking for lift but I am going to end up with a some lift no matter what.

Right now, I have a winch, winch mount and a ARB dual up front weighing the front end down. I guesstimate these are adding 100 pounds to the front end thus causing additional sag. Add in the normal Bronco factory rake and it would def be sagging quite a bit more if I had not previously installed a front end only 1" leveling kit.

The 1" front leveling kit is coming off when the 6100's are installed.

My rough measurement right now are:

Front (center of wheel hub to fender flare) = 22 1/8
Rear (center of wheel hub to fender flare) = 22 3/4

Here are the Bilstien data sheets for the front and rear on the 2DR Bronco.

Front:

Rear:

The rear shocks will definitely be placed at the lowest clip location of #1 giving me .8" lift to the rear.

The front is what I am trying to figure out. I'd like it level'ish but I also do not want a massive front end lift either. Also, remember when looking at my current measurements listed, that I currently have a 1" spacer lift on the front that will not remain.

I was originally thinking of putting the fronts at clip position #4 but that would actually give me slightly more rake than I currently have. I am now thinking clip position #5..

So the front at clip position #5 for a 2" lift and the rear clip at position #1 for a .8" lift.

Thoughts?

I would go with the #5 and #1 set-up knowing where you are at and what you are after.

My sas 2 dr I installed perch collars with a 1" rear lift and a 2 1/4" front lift to get a tiny bit more wheel clearance and remove the factory rake.

Sounds like you are headed in the right direction for what you are after.

Thanks for the response. 👍

Yeah I think position 5 in the front and 1 in the rear is going to be the best bet.

All of the install videos and information I can find says the rears are easy enough but the fronts are a PIA.. I'd prefer to get the fronts in the proper spot the 1st time so they won't need to be redone. I don't mind a little rake but I would not be able to stand even a little squatting at the rear.
