I've had mine for about a month and a half or so but I actually forgot I had it as it was in my storage unit chillin' in a box with Bronco parts. 🤷

I updated it on my MacBook and headed out to the Bronco. The Flashcal has the following options:

Features:

  • Speedometer adjust for Tire Size 28.25 - 36.25"
  • • Fog Lights: enable "Bambi Mode" for simultaneous use of fog lights with high-beams
  • • Headlamps Position Setting: option for headlamps to return to "Auto Lamps" or remain at last known position
  • • Auto Lights Delay: duration headlights illuminate after driver exit, 0, 5, 10, 20, 60, or 120 s.
  • • Daytime Running Light disable or enable
  • • TPMS Disable, for off-road wheels and tires
  • Independent TPMS threshold: Front and rear axles can be set differently from 1- 90 psi.
  • • Auto Start/Stop Disable: Remains off with every restart, and can be reenabled with the Flashcal any time *Not available for 2023-2024 models
  • Silent Mode: Turns off most cabin and exterior lights, and door chime with open door, ignition chime remains
  • Honk Warning Disable: 2-honk warning when driver exits running vehicle with key fob
  • • Lock Feedback Lights: Enables hazard blink with unlock command
  • • Auto Unlock: Vehicle unlocks with ignition off
  • Auto Lock: Disables factory setting to lock doors when vehicle is in motion
  • Auto Relock: Disables factory setting to re-lock doors 45 seconds after unlocking
  • Remote Unlock: Option to trigger all doors or just driver door
  • • Remote Start: Selects engine run time duration for 0, 5, 10, 15 mins

The bolded items above are the changes I made. I already have an auto stop eliminator installed so I did not mess with it.

Interestingly, Holly's website says it is NOT compatible with Badlands models with the 2.3L engine. I called Holly before I purchased it and was told they don't know why it says that but that it should work just fine with a Badlands 2.3L, and it does. Just FYI..

For the tire size you need to measure your actual and true trie size. Manufactures stated specs will not cut the mustard here and they always list the tire as being much taller than it actually is. I am looking at you 315/70R17's. Most are actually about 33 1/4" or so but the manufacturer states they are 34.4". If you were to go off the manufactures started sizes, your speedo will be off..

In my case I have 35x11.5R17's and the stated manufacturer size is 35".. Ahh, nope! Once mounted, aired and under vehicle weight they come in at 34 1/4.. I plugged in 34.25 into the Falshcal and my speed was still off by a few mph. Dialed it down to 34" in the Flashcal and my Spedo is now almost exact. I used 3 different GPS speed apps to test against the Bronco displayed speed.

Measure actual tire size, test and adjust until you get it dialed in.

I changed my TPMS warning settings down to 17 PSI. I almost always air down to 18 and I am tired of looking at the LOW TPMS dash warning. Activated Silent Mode and turned off the dreaded double honk. I changed the Auto Lock, Auto Relock and Remote Lock settings as well.

So far everything works great..

Why not use Forscan you ask? Well, I have one computer and it's a MacBook. Not interested in trying to use Windows emulators on it just for Forscan. The Flashcal pretty much does everything I wanted to change so I am happy with it..

Link for anyone interested. Looks like they are on sale. I paid full price from mine a few months ago.

Is it a use once and done product or something you have to keep plugged in?

Any issues with this since using? Just installed 285/75/17R KO3's and dealer did not calibrate the speedometer.

I'm contemplating this if no major issues rather than waiting at the dealer given the other perks (no double honk, autostart/stop, etc).
