Well gang, its been a nice ride but like all things in life it couldn't last forever.

Today my family & company were given an offer for our Bronco we couldn't refuse. Especially in todays deflating car market. So we sold our beloved 2021 Ford Bronco Badlands MT after 18 months of ownership. It was one of the first ones built and we hope the new owner appreciates the mint gem we sold to them...they do.

We went bronco crazy these last 18 months. Everything from bronco driving simulators at home (Forza Horizon 5), Traxxis Bronco RC car, Bronco pillows...the works! We hope we were good ambassadors of the brand.

Today was also an official goodbye to one of my brothers lost to covid 2 months prior to ownership. The area51 and orange trim reminded me of him bc he was a FL Gator alumni. Miss and love you brother.

Favorite things about bronco:
1. MGV Seats
2. 7MT
3. How it drove
4. Design
5. Good power in the I4. Great engine powertrain
6. Soft top was fun
7. Loved how simple the HVAC and other controls were in our mid package. Only what you needed and it all worked good
8. Front A/C is amazing. Maybe best ever
9. Grew to enjoy the quirky gauge cluster
10. Engaging clutch to shift without issue while cruise control activated very nice feature along with all other 7MT features like auto restart if stall, hillstart assist, start in gear feature etc.
11. It never left us stranded and no issues requiring dealer attention entire time we owned it.

Least Fav things about bronco:
1. No connected nav
2. Terrible Mpg on roadtrips
3. Android auto glitchy
4. Paint/fit/finish can be better
5. Backseat is terrible (not comfy, no AC, no armrest in ours)
6. Cargo area too fragile, should come with cargo mats and scratch resist sides
7. All the recalls.. (3 on ours, one major new front axle replacement)
8. Headlights either wouldn't turn off when engine off OR wouldn't illuminate when unlocked not controlled by nav screen.
9. It was super fun but also stuck out like a soar thumb. So you never felt at ease around town driving or leaving it parked unattended.
10. Swamp ass from MGV if hot outside wearing wrong material and AC vent not aimed at crotch
11. Indexing windows. No fun
12. Rear windows and doors too difficult to remove/install
13. Brakes too soft for that much weight, but even if stock vac breaks not good enough
14. Needs a NA V8 :)

We outfitted our bronco nicely with tons of classy mods and took it all over in the short 4K miles we owned it (Grand Canyon, Flagstaff, CA deserts, Joshua Tree, SoCal beaches and many father/son rides to school). Plus it helped grow our business, we helped new owners navigate their rig, and meet new friends. We had a good run.

Moving on we will still be a member of this great forum and continue to sell beneficial cool products for your bronco in the accessory section for less than anywhere else and exclusive products made just for your bronco as well.

Oh and for those of you wondering. We traded our bronco for a GMC Yukon with super comfy cloth seats. If leather we'd puke haha. Happy campers. We're ready to make new mems in it together.

Stay safe out there on your adventures bronco family. Please wheel one for me because after 40+ years of offroading every way imaginable in every kind of ORV...our 4x4 days are over. At least for now. Vya Con Dios "Broncowski"!!

Ps-we have a few spare parts left some might want like 1 badlands decal never used, 1 black horse OEM emblem never used, 1 gloss black bronco depot USA script emblem never used and more!! Will post a package listing soon in the buy/sell section. Stay tuned!

With much respect & admiration,
-TNT

Thanks Tim. Yes still pinching myself. Despite high gas prices, inflation etc. we made the most of our time with it the last 18 months.

My son 50/50 as you can imagine at 8yrs old. For that reason I regret it a little but had to do it. He will remember it forever. Here is pic of him driving me through the desert in it coming home from grand canyon last year for his bday. My late dad did same with me over 30 years ago. He did great, better than I did at his age.

It will be missed by all

Man, sorry to hear about your brother... that had to be a hard loss. Also sorry to hear the Bronco wasn't your jam... you sure didn't drive it much, 4k miles in a year and a half? I've already got almost 6000 miles in 3 months LOL . Seriously, if someone offered me $100k for it, I'd turn it down.. I absolutely love it... now, if they offered $150k... I might consider it LOL ... good luck with the new ride!

Thanks on my brother. Yes it sucked. Fuck china. Covid almost killed me twice as well so I can say that with total sincerity. If anyone doesn't like it F you and keep scrolling :)

The bronco was my jam. But like all things it had its pros and cons which I shared. Its just a car (not perfect). Not God (perfect).

I think my breakdown pretty well explains that in the time we owned it we had a blast. Plus I live 5 min from everything in my world so miles stayed pretty low for that reason. Its not about how many miles but how many memories and we made plenty in ours.

I was the same as you and had no plans to sell. But plans change and we sold ours for the benefit of my family and company. It wasn't easy but had to happen.

Keep on rockin in your rig and taking all those great bronco travel pics!

Sounds like you really never did like it all that much.
Really?? Between both forums we posted thousands of comments and threads over the last 18 months. Framed pics of it in my house with family. Built a new product & division of my biz in 18 months for bronco owners. Over a thousand pics in my build journal. Invested in not only a bronco but one that was better than most and everything else mentioned. My son and family really enjoyed the bronco deeply. So you sir or mam, respectfully, have no idea what the hell you're talking about.

You should have led with what you didn't like about the Bronco, and closed with what you loved about it. 😆

Ultimately, you did what you did for your own reasons and the only person that matters to is you. Kudos for making your family and your business (your livelihood) a priority over what is basically a big ole toy. I'm sorry you lost your brother.
Chris here. I drive a Velocity Blue 2023 Ford Bronco Badlands with Sasquatch, Lux, a 2.7L V6, and automatic transmission.

Haha. Yes. You're probably right on the love/hate bronco order.

Thank you for all of the contributions. Please stay involved as online communities are only as good as the members and the content that they add.
I completely understand where you are coming from with your sale and purchase. I swapped out of an '18 Expedition and got into my '21 BD. From a comfort standpoint I am sure that your Yukon is a smoother ride and absolutely has more cupholders 🤪.
As for the MPG, which engine did you get and how comparable is it to the Badlands? I had the 3.5 ecoboost in the Expedition and I am loving th 2.3.

Thanks Tits. Members like yourself are why we will continue being members. Much appreciated my friend.

We got the 5.3 and not enough time in it yet (outside of much much time in the 2003 5.3 tahoe generation). I will say range is looking to be WAY better in Yukon vs Badlands. Probably around 325-350 highway miles per tank in yukon vs 170-230 miles per tank in bronco because of 37s, winch, steps, heavy bumpers and engine working overtime to overcompensate for being small yet mighty. The 2.3 engine with MT is almost sorcery bc its so good apart from mpg.

Thank You for the nice message and very sorry for your loss due to covid. So sad. One day at a time. Hang in there.

I've realized since selling the Bronco that Im still very attached to the forum. Kinda almost feels like the bronco is still in the garage. But its not. The wife loves her new Yukon and I must admit its much better for our family needs at this time, but its not a lifted Bronco on 37s. O'well. Just happy to say we got to have one even if only for a short while. The one thing I loved most about it was No bad memories attached to it (minus the dipshit admin on other forum lol).

BN forum is healthy and enjoyable for me so no worries SD...we have no plans to leave the Bronco Nation family :) Happy to be here contributing any way we can and we're the ones who are lucky to have all of you be a part of the NT Auto family as well.
