Howdy! Proud new Bronco 4DR owner as YESTERDAY!

I got a Black Diamond soft top and, of course, I immediately had to remove windows and put the top down.

What products are y'all using and liking for soft top care? I'm looking a UV protectant to put on the fabric (vinyl?) and something to clean the soft top windows with.

Thank y'all in advance.

My dealer did the ceramic on the vehicle and the soft top. $$. It will be good to hear what others are doing.

Sounds like a nice rig!

Congratulations on your new Bronco!

I use RAGGTOP Convertible Top Fabric Cleaner & Protectant Kit on my softie and it works great.

Good luck & enjoy top down driving this summer. 😎

I think the best thing to clean the window is just water in a spray bottle and a microfiber cloth. They scratch if you look at them funny so I just wet them down and then gently dry them. There are some vinyl window boat products that folks have used with good results, but I havent tried them yet.

I use the Meguires soft top cleaner, but I am not too crazy with it. I find that most of the junk comes off with water pressure, so I dont spend a lot of time with it. Plus you cant see the dirt when it is folded back.

Wetness is your friend. Do not use any dry rags on the windows. I use Chemical Guys car wash with a wet micro fiber towel to wash, let it air dry, then chemical guys ceramic detailer with a clean micro fiber to get water spots off. Zero scratches with this method so far and had my bronco a year.

Side note, learnt this the hard way, the windows are very temperamental. If you have pups and put them in the rear be sure to clean the windows after every time they are in there. Seems the salt in their mouths and on their noses when touching the windows will streak them white. And it’s not removable or cleanable!

Be careful on how you store the windows when you don't have them in. There are bags on Amazon that have 3 separate compartments and hooks to hang them on a wall - or off the head rests if you need to have them with you. Everyone else gave good suggestions on cleaning them. Enjoy your Bronco!

Also, never wipe the windows down unless you want them to look terrible. Never. Doesn’t matter how microfibery it is.
