I saw this at the Auto show but didnt check. With the tailgate slid out, you can lift the plastic and access the in floor storage, right?

Post delivery did they ship your Bronco without the tailgate or did you order it separately? I’m thinking about getting one since my Brother sold his Bronco and didn’t let me steal the tailgate first.

I know you can get to the in-floor strange, but I don't know if you gain any additional in-floor storage. (It won't be much, and it would be very flat/thin storage... but storage nevertheless.)

If @Big Papa could post pics of what it looks like with the lid up—both with the tailgate out and with it retracted, that would be sweet.

Ohh, nice! So you do get some new storage... but very little.

So... mmmm... maybe I'l hold of then. If it was a $600 add-on I think I would give it a shot, but at $1100 I don't know if I gain enough functionality/storage for it to make up for what I lose.

I got my Bronco before this was available as a kit. So the dealership #BillUtterFord installed it yesterday.

My wife and I sleep in the back of the Bronco when we go camping. Getting rid of the hump is really nice.

Thats why I got mine. My spouse is a maximalist Glamper (hence us having a camper trailer), but I like to take the minimal amount of gear with me. Looking forward to spinning up this set up.

That’s definitely a plus. I’d also just like having that work surface. The downside is I’ll no longer be able to store doors in the back… which… admittedly I don’t do that often but still.

I’ve issue right now is I have a bunch of basic recovery gear with no “home” in the Bronco. It just floats around in the back. So if there was a bunch of extra storage under the lid of the slide-out tailgate that would give that gear a home and solve one of my problems.
