Archetype Racing makes some pretty sweet gear for the Bronco. I have them in black - didn't think the Code Orange would work against the silver backdrop of the BRaptor skids

Those are by far the best shackles I have seen. But ouch, $850.00 for a pair, too rich for my blood. Too many other things I can buy for that much!

The quality is outstanding - and they have a newer slightly smaller style they are making as well (I'd say its about 25% smaller) Mine are going on a Braptor so big & chunky is ok. They make some really nice stuff.

Hey, I appreciate your letting me know that I read their pricing wrong. $340 for a pair is a much more palatable amount. And yes they do make great stuff. I have a few of their offerings and it is definitely great product.

Just because I spent $60k on my Bronco (and invested good money in other places where more money = better performance) doesn’t mean I’m looking to spend $340 somewhere that $100 does the same job... unless maybe you’re brand-conscious and going for more of a “look” (not judging, just pointing out). Most of the folks dropping that kind of cash on shackles aren’t using them. A fool is easily parted with his money but far be it from me to tell anyone how to spend it! That’s the best part of all this.. everyone starts out with a blank canvas but has a different painting in the end.

My ArchetypeRacing Badlands Orange D-Rings just arrived, and I'm sooooo excited! They look so lovely in their velvet-lined gift box. That's where they'll stay, of course. What, you think I'd mount them and expose them to bangs, nicks, road salt, scratches? No, they're just too precious to be used.

I ran short on time yesterday. The hardware took longer than expected and I had to fix my bed yesterday. Slept on the living room floor Saturday night. Good times. Wiring goes in today, hopefully.
