I say Blue, spice it ip a little

So I want to get some shackles for my Outer Banks but can't decide on a color. I am in between grey, ue or black. And have reasons for each.

Grey- Bronco is cactus grey

Black- to match the heritage badges and rear tailgate bronco logo

Blue- have the roast interior with blue stitching.

I can't decide and any advice would be appreciated. I would also like to get the trail sights from stickerfab in the same color

I hate to throw more colors into the mix, but I find these 2 colors look pretty good. I had more pics of the 2 colors but I must have deleted them.....
I also added the lime green, however it looks like that is A51...

Me personally love the Orange with the cactus gray, if you do a search on line looks like the #1 color you will see is the Orange. However I'm sure you will always get people that disagree with the orange on cactus gray, if you go with any color you will find people disagree. What ever color you decide, will look good no matter what. I went with the Lime Green on my Velocity Blue, and I can't change because I already ordered them and they are waiting for the Bronco to carry these bad boys around..

That orange does look good plus it will look good with the black accebts...after seeing your post and thinking about it it makes sense. I added a bunch of blue vynal to the interior (glove box letters, mirror switch...ect) I feel that I am going overboard with that color another color will definitely break that up and still look good thanks I appreciate the feedback and now I think I may go with the orange.

There is an aerosol called “Cast Blast”
That’s what I would use.
It’s a grey finish like no other finishes.

I still haven't decided to put the tow hooks on.. while i do have multiple sets I just haven't installed them yet.

I am so surprised that you haven't added the Shackles/Tow hooks yet, you and Jill practically tore apart your Bronco from the ground up, I mean areas that most of us would never dream of tearing apart you two have accomplished. We all have a long wait anyways, so let's see these bad boys on there.:p
Give us some more idea's to worry about!
The right build.
The right color.
The right engine.
The right choice 2 or 4 door.
To Squatch or not.
The right trim.
Soft top or hard.
Stock bumper or Modular.
Now the right Shackle color. ;)

I think bronze colored shackles would look nice against the charcoal bumper. Kinda weathered looking, that sort of thing.

I went subtle with black and having the red pins to match the body color. I reserve the right, though, to change my mood. And, yes, that's my abominable snowman...

I understand having a highly visible shackel. I spray painted a bunch of recovery gear with a glow in the dark organge after spending twenty minutes looking for a droped shackel . That was after the snow and ice had melted. Spent at least 3 hours in 24 inch deap snow getting a bunch of folks out of a ditch.


As to the colors you are discussing I don't get it .

Looking at those tow hook design why do you need a shackel ? You can attach a tow strap without a shackel to those tow hooks. I still use a bunch of chains and metal winch cables but as every one ready this knows you should be using synthetic lines and tow straps as they are safer. Lighter much easier to use in most situations. I just got old stuff and am to cheap to get rid of it. But even I hook to a car with a tow strap.

The big heavy chain, that I will have to stop using in anther year or two, is over 75 years old and weighs about 220 pounds. Skidded logs last winter with it and am finding it just to hard to move it around. Shorter , smaller chains, daisy chaned together, do the same thing and I do not have to work as hard. Those smaller chains are still rated at 10,000 pounds plenty for the work I was doing.

Your vehicle so you do you. But I would not special order anything just use a good rattle can and make them what ever color you want. Repaint every spring. Compare price to the shackels at your local farm and home / feed store / hardware store.

Like the look. However, i love the forward facing camera. So I'm going to go with the warn bumper.

The Big Bend doesn't have that... the Badlands will though.
