I know this may be a dumb question, but if one desires the wildtrak black ring beadlock over the silver ring beadlock on BL why couldn’t a dealer somehow get that message to the manufacturer and make that happen for a Badlands order?

They would have a ton of silver bead lock rings laying around. They are doing it to give the Wildtrack and FEs a special look. I would imagine you could just get them powder coated. You could always see if you like the look by plastidip them if you don’t like it you just peel it off.

Thanks for replying, good idea! I wish the FE and WT were special with the silver rings, ha! I’ll figure something out. I’m sure I’ll still be happy regardless!

If I was going Sasquatch I would either just take the rings off. Or i would paint them. I have had this conversation many times with my Brother who is going Basesquatch, I doing Badlands no Squatch.

Yes absolutely add the bolts back I think it would look good.

The beauty rings should be a buyers choice, I prefer silver, some prefer black. I keep lobbying Ford to offer it as a buyers choice, absolutely no cost difference for Ford. I've ordered a Wildtrak but with priority 99 (2022 MY) with hopes it will be a buyers choice, if not I will have them powder coated or swap with someone. Also, the true bead lock rings available in different colors may be a good option and look even better with all 24 bolts. I may also change to Badlands depending on 2022 options & packages, then I have my silver rings.

what is the bolt size of the beadlock rings?

I am trying to delete the beauty ring and just replace with red bolts.

If you take the rings off (and leave them off), you should probably screw in the 24 bolts

When you remove the beauty ring, the area underneath is not fully painted so be prepared to have the wheel refinished (paint, powder coat or plastidip) otherwise it will look like :poop:

I also will be painting mine like a lot of others will be doing, just don't like the color. It makes sense to have them painted rather than powder coated or dipped because if you scrape them against a rough surface, via trees or rocks you can always just repaint them. "Whalla"
