Can all of the Sasquatch Package be achieved by buying my own wheels and tires, larger fender flares and buying the tuner? Or is the high clearance suspension just the height of the tires or do they put different shocks on it. Explain the package more. Thanks, Geno.

***sigh*** Throw some big ass tires on it and call it a day, or do some research and figure out if it will suit your needs...

It is way more than wheels, tires and flares. Different suspension, gearing and advance 4x4.

...and lockers. Yes, WAY more than appearance, OP. Play around on the B&P, you'll see.

I knew I forgot something. Was just coming back to add that in to my post.

Ya need to just do the research. It's not just throwing tires and a lift kit up on it. The cost of assembly a non factory Sasquatch would be damned pricey, and you probably don't have a warranty at that point.

The Badlands platform gets you just about all the things you need for a Sasquatch without having to do the tires, and lift. it's about a $3-$k savings or up charge depending on your decision.

The wheels and tires alone from Ford, if bought separately, are worth the cost of the package. Adding the HOSS 2 suspension, lockers, better gearing (for the tire and wheel weight, easily up to 40s).....you are saving a good couple grand on parts and labor getting the package.

If you are ONLY getting a Bronco for looks, dont waste the money on the SAS. If you are going to use the Bronco for it's intended purpose, you kind of NEED the SAS.

So others have touched on it, but what a Sasquatch package offers is highly depends on what your trim is.

If you are adding the Sasquatch package to a Base Bronco, it adds a ton of stuff. If you add it to a Badlands with a manual transmission, it is effectively a new set of wheels/tires with an very minor suspension lift... and that's literally it.

In general it comes with the following... ranked from least important to most important (in my opinion):

  • Wider fender flares
  • 315/70r17 tires (aka: 35s)
  • 17" wheels
  • HOSS 2.0 suspension
    • Already standard on Badlands
  • Electromechanical transfer case (aka: Advanced 4x4) - comes with the 4-Auto mode, which is an AWD-like mode.
    • Optional on Black Diamond & Outer Banks
    • Already standard on Badlands
  • Beefier Dana front axles
    • Already standard on Badlands
  • 4.70 axle ratio
    • Already standard on Badlands with the manual transmission
  • Front locking axle
    • Already standard on Badlands
  • Rear locking axle
    • Already standard on Black Diamond & Badlands
    • Optional on Big Bend & Outer Banks

Stuff like the fender flares, tires, and wheels can easily be done aftermarket. The suspension is a nice upgrade, but there are already better aftermarket upgrades available. The transfer case is something you're not going to be able to add aftermarket, but in my opinion isn't that valuable. The axles and axle ratio are super helpful, and again... difficult to add aftermarket. But not impossible, Ford offers upgrade paths.

In my opinion, if you are getting the manual transmission, just get the standard Badlands trim and call it a day, no need for the Sasquatch package.

If you are getting an automatic transmission there is a little more "well, it depends" involved. Personally, if I was getting the Badlands trim I would not be getting the Sasquatch package even with the automatic transmission. BUT, I would not be getting the Badlands trim if I was getting an automatic transmission—instead I would be getting a Black Diamond with the Sasquatch package. But a lot of it depends on your desires/needs, which are likely different from mine.

Stouter front axle and front locker would be the hardest to replicate from a performance and cost perspective. I have been with an OBX on 37s, 4.27 gears, professional and well designed lift and rear locker on the trail. It is are super capable. The biggest issue- long term durability will likely be shorter on the 190 axle. If you want big tires and are not going to use it off road and drive it gently, it's probably just an issue of wear items being replaced more often (axle shafts, bearings). If you cheap out on the lift, you will likely suffer in the ride and handling vs. the properly engineered SQ package. Bottom line, it's a pretty significant package and very cost effective vs. replicating in the aftermarket.

it is really all going to depend on what you want from the Bronco. nice comfy ride and better MPGs go OBX no squatch.
a Capable Crawler @RagnarKon nailed it (I think we share the same brain some times) The only other one I would add to the list is a BaseSquatch that will get you everything you need. My Brother has a fully optioned Basesquatch and put a lift and 37" on it and he is still sitting at about $10k less than my 1 option Everglades.

The heavier front axle, gears and lockers are worth the price of admission if ya actually plan on wheeling...if ya don’t care about that stuff skip the package and throw on some wheels and tires along with a cheap lift while keeping on malling

The nice thing about the ability to just add a lift, and bigger tires means you can go over the cars instead of around the lane to grab that last spot before the other guy snags it.

No one has addressed the other part of the OP question, what the Sasquatch Package includes versus non-Sasquatch Package. So, I'll take a stab at it.

non-Sasquatch Package includes:
  • the other stuff, the stuff not included on the Sasquatch package

Bottom line: get the sasquatch or don't order a Bronco. This vehicle does not look right without it. You're wasting production time and resources when not adding it.

If you don't get Sasquatch when you order, after you get your truck and pull in next to a Sasquatch Bronco at Sonic or McDonalds, you'll be calling your dealer to see when order banks open for 2025 so you can order a Sasquatch and asking how much your non-Sasquatch trade is worth.

Plus....the Sasquatch just looks bad ass!
