My 2023 Badlands with a Sasquatch package is ready to hit the ground. Has no running boards on it don’t think they were even available with the Sasquatch package. My wife is very short had her sit in a Badlands w/o Sasquatch package. Says she needs boards sits up too high for her. Anybody puts boards on their Bronco with a Sasquatch package? If so what did you install and how do you like them?

Ford doesn’t include running boards on Badlands since it would impact off-road / rock-crawling clearance and performance. They do offer on some of their other less rock-crawling oriented trims though (Big Bend, Outer Banks, Wildtrak).

If you still want that off-road clearance/capability… then you’ll have to buy rock sliders that double as steps, such as these from Rock Slide Engineering.

If you don’t care so much about off-roading and just want the steps, you can get the OEM steps from Ford Accessories. Note you can use the FordPass points from your Bronco purchase to get a discount on these.

If you kind of what the in-between option, you can get steps that attach to the factory rock sliders that can be removed. There are a few companies that make these, the best known is probably IAG Performance. The downside is these are roughly the same height as the rock sliders themself, whereas the other options are lower to the ground.

My wife is kinda short too - I wanted something for my badsquatch that would look decent, help her get in/out of the vehicle, and provide some protection against rock chips - I ended up going with the GoRhino Dominator Xtreme D6 - I bought them from https://juggernautpower.com/ (they're not listed on the site, but if you call, they can order them for you).. small business, and sponsor of the Bronco6X facebook page)

I'm super happy with them, they definitely work well and look great.

I added the GoRhino D1 Dominator side steps to my BigBend Sasquatch...they come out far enough to catch the flung rocks and muck, help keep the person parking next to me from dinging my doors, and are a good solid step up into the cab. They were dealer installed--took their tech (and a couple of jack stands) about an hour to mount both sides.

Do your research, some of the non oem tube steps have had problems with rust.

Looking through my notes… here is another option for rock sliders that can also function as a step.

I also had GoRhino on my list (which has already been posted above).

We had 4Wheel Parts (4WP) steps on our badlands. Good size and clean design. Really helped my son climb in it and ours had 3 inch lift on 37s. Also good size if you wear boots or big feet. I added grip tape to both sides (harder than it looks) which was a nice touch and added safety especially if you live in wet/snow climate.

Consider also Archetype Racing. Their variations are amazing, and there's one for every budget. You can get small "stirrups" or their Magnum Stirrups, which are their full-length equivalents. All are beautifully designed and guaranteed rust-free.
Chris here. I drive a 2-door Velocity Blue 2023 Ford Bronco Badlands with Sasquatch, Lux, a 2.7L V6, and an automatic transmission. It’s fun.

I added the GoRhino RB20 Slim running boards to my Big Bend with 35" tires and a 2" lift. Love them. They provide a good step and I think the smaller profile looks good with the Bronco's lines.

I got the Archtype full length magnums, since I had the factory rock rails, the install was easy and did it by myself.
