Bought a Rough Country Fab bumper for the rear and overall seems very solid but after install the weld quality is suspect. Can I assume the other structural welds are adequate? Is the recovery point good?

Rough Country customer service chat was good and answered quickly. I asked for a credit first as I did not want to take it back apart and send it back and just live with it but they refused. They offered to send a new bumper face and it will arrive in a few days.

Photos of the left (bad) and right side (good).

Rough Country makes some good gear these days (despite the what the haters might say) but I will say there are times where the welds look like they were done by someone who is blind in one eye and can't see out of the other..

I'd personally just do the exchange as I am sure the next one will be better. Having said that, Rough Country and pretty looking welds are probably not something you are ever going to get...

Good luck and keep us updated!
