Interesting, someone posted a rear spoiler like that before but it did not have the brake lights in it. Are those DOT approved. I have seen someone in a jeep fail inspection for the ring brake light that goes behind the spare because it was not DOT approved this was in Texas where we don’t even do inspections anymore.
BN 1100, Desert Sand Everglades. Reservation 7/30/20. ordered 1/22/21, reordered 10/15/21 dropped tow and hard top, reordered 3/9/22 changed to Everglades. production date 9/7/22 rescheduled 9/14/22 completed 9/26/22, shipped 10/7/22, arrived 10/31/22, delivered 11/03/22

Interesting, that it wouldn't pass in Texas. It my fail here in California, I've got 8 years before any inspection.

I like that they have the install instructions so easily visible on the page -- I was curious where wiring went. Doesn't look like it's an absolutely horrendous process to remove the hard top for long periods of time, if you're someone who likes to and has the ability. That would be a start of summer, off all season, reinstall end of summer decision for me, though, not every couple weeks.

Good question; As shown in the install video they say to run the wire in the hard top seam grove. I had some black vinyl wrap left over from another project and cut a strip to cover and holed the wire. The kits wire loom has Ford compatible plugs that tie into the system so blinkers work. They should include white backup light due to Ford week ones. IMO the backup cam needs more illumination in the dark, but don't we all these days ;)

Ha, that's true!

That last picture -- it looks like your dealer may not have fully prepped your Bronco for you before delivery and left the window tabs in that are meant for transport. That's been common lately, so don't worry. If you want to leave them in, or that's something else that I'm mistaking for them, do whatever you like, but they pull out easily if you'd like to remove! I've been wanting to do an article with one of our master techs on the checklist dealerships are supposed to do, so it caught my eye.

Thanks for the keen eye. Yeah, was not a good dealer. But I started to take them off and had second thought so left them (No I don't leave the price tags on my clothes :). That list sounds like a great idea. I'll give you my pet peeve for things to be aware of. Someone (Dealer) put that horrible tire shine crap on all 5 tires. It took me a while to figure out why my clothes had black smudges. That stuff doesn't come out of fabric, I (they) ruined 3 pants and two coats. I had to scrub with a degreased many times to get that stuff of the tires. Standing and working on stuff under the hood you can't help to brush up against the tires, and the spare on the tail gate is like a big magic marker!

Is there a way to wire it up to a separate switch to utilize as case lights? I like the notion of an on/off switch

Sure, it's two leads Negative and Positive to the bar. Apply 12v to both left and right leads and put a switch between the positive and the power source. 12v cigarette power adaptor with a switch
