Considering buying TrailRax for a 2025 Bronco Raptor. Don't want to add any more wind noise or use suction cups. Are they best in class for roof racks? Any other recommendations?

There are several people with Raptors that have TrailRax racks. I know a few of them and they love them. There are several regular broncos that have the TrailRax and I don’t know one person that doesn’t love their TrailRax.

Every roof rack adds to wind resistance--and noise. I love mine, but can't say whether it's more or less noise than other makes. I have the PakRax, which I'm sure adds to it. Don't forget, Broncos have the aerodynamics of a brick.

10% discount if you buy through this site's store. They'll encourage you to pair your TrailRax with Heretic Lights (also on this site's store), which I did. Pricey, but I think worth the money.

The full-length Trailrax is a two-man install job. The other site has several extensive threads on Trailrax, so check them out.

Keep your eye out for Memorial Day and Independence Day promotions.

Lol. Love how we call it "the other site".

Are we a traitor if we're active on both?
I've found BN to be a great forum for community, for ideas & just Bronco talk.
I've found "the other site" to have some exceptionally knowledgeable people with a real passion for figuring out how to maximize this platform.
I mean, they've got a 138 page forum on 3.0 Steering rack swaps that will melt your mind with tech & details.
Honestly, Ford should hire a few of them....

Even I have a profile on both, so ... 😁

The other site has a lot of good information on it, no doubt but there are a lot, and I mean a lot, of people there who act like petulant children. I don't have the patience, or the desire, to deal with childish people like that anymore. We don't really have that problem here.

The only time I really ever go there is if I am searching for information on something and a link leads me there..

I have the trailRax and pakrax on my 21 2 door. Have to say I love it and don't notice any more or less noise. Can't speak for the 4 door but the front panels remove easily and the the only issue I've had was not installing the the front air damn correctly which created an annoying squeak. Once I adjusted it properly squeak gone.
Every spring and fall I go over all the nuts and screws to make sure all are tight and have yet to find any loose.
Knowing I will never remover the top completely it's perfect for my use.

I've encountered a few snide remarks over there about tbn folks. To make those, I assume they've at least visited here, sometime...somewhat?
The Admins there can be ferocious. I once posted a link on Ford Bronco production and sales figures from Breitbart, and got a harsh, bold-face (in my face!) warning NO POLITICS! I doubt that would have happened if I had linked to National Propaganda Radio. Another time, I summarized a review from the Wall Street Journal on the Cybertruck, taking care to only relate the reviewer's opinions (mixed), with several sentences quoted and referenced. That got deleted in short order!
Yes, there are some intense builders and adapters there, and I'm sometimes lost when it comes to the minutia of lifts, shocks, motor upgrades, etc. But the buyers/sellers threads are very good, and I'm comfortable referring people, here, to there.

And getting back to the OP's issue on TrailRax, I suggest he go there and search "Trailrax" in thread titles, he'll find lots.

If I could log in and post anonymously, I'd sign this post:

PS Ever notice how they never suspend you in Bronco6G jail, you're just BANNED, "for ever and ever amen," and they ban your IP address, too, so you can't relog with another username. So happens I had to replace my computer, so I use another IP address. I'd tell you what my new username is over there, but if you found out, I'd have to liquidate you.

I’ve got the Trail Rax on a four door, purchased through BN Store. I think the wind noise is actually a bit less with the wind deflector actually. It definitely improves wind impact in the cabin with the tops off. And being able to take the front and middle tops off by yourself with it on is a huge win.

I get that. tbh, there's times where I see things like the 6k camping trips being sold & think some snide things myself.
Like I said, this site has a great community & tends to run very positive. I enjoy interacting with everyone here.

There are some great resources there. I'm thinking of a dealer tech & another guy who works for a dealer that are super quick to help with getting p/ns, schematics, etc. And some of the guys are just great. I had a complete stranger invite me to his shop to do the vin hack program on 3.0 steering rack for me & when we messed up my PSCM, he grabbed a trailer & drove me halfway home with my Bronco on the trailer to meet my brother & save me a few hours. Would only let me pay him with a tank of gas & a bottle of rum.

Does Bronco Nation even have a jail? If so, the jailer must be pretty bored.

There are a few 'problem children' here but I've slapped 'em on ignore so life is peaceful.

My 6G ignore list is about half the forum, I think.. I am at that age now where I've morphed into a 'get off my lawn' type of dude.. 😂 😂

I am not hating on 6G, as I said before, there is a TON of great info there as long as you can stomach wading through the nonsense that infests almost every thread..
