Rolling Rocks Start Up Animation gone!!!

Yesterday, my dealership (Walnut Creek Ford) without my consent decided to do additional recall work on my Bronco... I specifically went there with an appointment to get the rear shock (reboot) recall upgrade....I made sure ahead of time that the parts were there and pulled for my appointment..

So on Monday I drop the Bronco off at 7:00am specifically to get the rear shock recall worked on. Then , after waiting all day for a phone call ...... I call backed at 3:00 pm to find out they never did the shock reboot but rather .... decided on their own to replace the rear camera.... which has always worked and has never been an issue. Thusly, also decided to program the latest software upgrade.....

NOW MY ROLLING ROCK START UP ANIMATION HAS BEEN REMOVED AND REPLACED WITH A PULSATING BRONCO ICON AS PER THE '24-25 MODELS!!!!!

I PURCHASED MY CAR WITH THE ROLLING ROCK ANIMATION FEATURE. I WAS NEVER GIVEN THE CHOICE AND OR EVER GIVEN THE OPTION TO KEEP IT....!!! I NEVER BARGAINED FOR THIS!!!

I WANT IT BACK!!!!

FORD MOTOR COMPANY.... IF YOUR LISTENING....I AND OTHERS WANT THEIR ROLLING ROCK ANIMATION BACK!!!!!! PLEASE HELP!!!!

My carplay and other aspects of my infosytem has worked flawlessly and I never had any reason to change anything!!!

I agree the new start up display sucks. This is one of the many problems with "smart" vehicles. Anything good can be arbitrarily ruined or bricked.

When mine RRB disappeared I called the help desk. I was able to get connected to a techie person, TP, after many painful minutes with a HD person reading their script. When I spoke to her she was not aware of what I meant by the RRB, and she was a person that wrote the code. I explained it, still no luck. At the same time is when my weather app stopped working and both of these took place after my last update. I have found the help desk is generally a waste of time. Now I know it's been a while that I've been in the business, Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut code is code.
