Motortrend feels it's excessive. They were driving a hard top with sound deadening headliner. "At 50 mph the cabin gets loud, as lots of road noise suddenly intrudes. At 70 mph, there's so much wind noise in the cabin it sounds like the roof is off."

This person says they couldn't have a phone conversation at 70 mph, a conversation with the passenger beside her, or listen to the radio.

"Starting at about 30 mph, those 17-inch LT315/70 Goodyear Territory MT tires...start singing. Between 65 and 70 mph, wind noise overpowers tire roar."

When posters are comparing it to Jeep, it seems they must be comparing it to an older model? Also, Jeep offers two soft tops, a standard and premium (quieter). The posts that actually measure db, that I've been able to find, show the Jeep soft top to be slightly quieter than the Bronco soft top, especially as you gain speed;
although, they are essentially the same. It seems objective findings confirm the seat of the pants hear-o-meter isn't very accurate.

2021 4 door Big Bend
50mph: 64-65db
70mph: 71-72db
2021 4 door (Soft top) Jeep
