Rigid Lights and Trail Armor

Hard Case got an upgrade! Added the rigid light bar, light pods, and under body rock lights (Amber). Also added the Ford Trail armor to all four corners and the hood. She looks amazing!!! I’ll try and post a pic of the lights on later. I have a video that I cannot quite figure how to post yet.

Looks great. Any road noise or whistling from the light bar while at freeway speeds?

1. As asked already, any whistling from the light bar?
2. Hood armor, is it attached with double sided tape?

I was considering that hood armor/deflector hoping the bump would solve the bug problem. Figure windshield will be just as bad as the Jeeps (due to the vertical-ness of it), which are bug magnets during the summer. I just wasn't sure if I liked what was out there right now though.

None so far. Was doing about 70 mph on the way home yesterday and did not notice any change in noise level pre-light bar. Took it out for a spin around the neighborhood today and no whistling either. Thank you!

As far as I know, the trail armor is attached with 3M automative tape including the hood deflector. I didn’t trust myself to do the work so my dealer did it for me. Came out great!

No whistling from the light bar yet. I’ll update in a few weeks after I put more miles on her as we start returning back to work.

So far so good!! They seem incredibly well made just like all of their products!

Awesome, just requested to join the group. I went to Koon Sterling Ford and had an amazing experience. Which dealership did you go to to install the lights.

Is that an aftermarket soft top? If not, that's about the smoothest I've ever seen the windows on a stock soft top look.

Is that an aftermarket soft top? If not, that's about the smoothest I've ever seen the windows on a stock soft top look.

I have the same setup with the Rigid light bar, but mine is very noisy. Do you have it angled in any certain way to prevent noise?

So the more I drive it I do hear the noise from the light bar. That being said, it’s still not as loud as the Jeep’s I’ve been in even with the light bar. My solution is to turn up the radio a little louder!
