Hello all,
Had a really bad day today. Long and short and 100% not my fault ….. an underground garage door came down and took out my front window surround at the top. My cockpit soft top has multiple tears and punctures and the plastic hard top at the back is scratched. Will get it repaired back to the way it was but just wanted opinions on this full soft top as an option. Also any help on questions below would be appreciated…..

1) How is it in the winter? Our winters are not bad but snow and yuck does happen. I did last winter with the cockpit soft top and it was no problem.
2) How is the noise level?
3) How does it fit?

and finally my present scalped configuration is …..
1) Factory two door hard top (grey)
2) 2 Door Soft twill soft top over cockpit ( bought through dealership)

I am rather distraught after this happening. Probably not thinking right but thought some opinions would help.
Thanks!

I have a softtop...... still in the box in my garage. Just haven't had time to install. I think @Speed Devil has a softtop so maybe he will chime in?

we had a 21 bronco with a soft top and had it almost 2 full years with Virginia winters.
we felt that it handled it great with no issues.
Heated up nicely, sound level was pretty decent.
We were a little protected when we got a few inches and were out there keeping it clean. We just traded it in recently and the soft top looked almost brand new. We thought about getting the kind like yours but it’s too much atm. Maybe in a few years.

Thanks for the feedback. Please keep it coming. If you had the choice which way would you go? The way I was or the full soft top?

For 14 years I had a Jeep YJ with the soft top. In the winter you can't keep the windows clean of winter road grime. If you try to clean the windows without pressure from a garden hose to super wet the grime to remove it, you will scratch the plastic windows. There is no way around scratching the windows.

When the Bronco was revealed, the 2-dr came standard with a hard top, which I welcomed because I was not going to get another soft top. Too much a PITA to deal with in the long run.

My 2 cents.
No salt tram towers were harmed in the making of this post...

I have decided to stay with what I have. Best of both worlds! Soft top with a hard top. I will have her repaired back to perfect.
