Does anyone know if and how I can swap out my BDLNDS grill (Carbonized gray) for the Wildtrack one (Glossy black)? Went to auto body shop nearby- said he cannot paint it- paint won't stick properly. He called a local Ford dealer who doesn't seem to know much. Another auto body shop said a replacement grille for BDLNDS comes in primer and needs to be painted- but not worth the money he was asking in my opinion.

Anyone know best way to get this done?
Probably would have to get it powder coated or order a wildtrak grille from a ford dealer.

All Bronco grilles are swappable. The body shop might be right in saying your grille it would be hard to paint. Yes, Badlands grilles come unpainted. Maybe you can find a Wildtrak owner who swapped out his grille for something aftermarket, and buy his OEM GRILLE.
I was told wrapping will not hold up well. Think about the sand, salt, bugs, etc debris that hits the grill.
Yep, you can't even take a wrap thru a car wash I think. I love powder coating, but don't know about how durable it is compared to paint. It's harder I'd imagine, but is it more brittle ?

Need to go to a different body shop then because you can paint and it will hold up fine if some one knows what their doing.
