Hi people!
Thanks to this forum I have fixed all the Bronco issues like hard top noise and the chimes.
But there's this last issue that I hate and is this pre collision notification everytime I start my Bronco.
I have the pre collision disable already but this notification keeps showing up!
How I can disable for good?
Thanks!

Is there a reason why you want pre-collision disabled?

I’ve never seen this alert on my 2021 Badlands. Even so, I know the precollision alert works because it sometimes comes on if a car in front of me brakes while I am close.
You can't reason someone out of a position that they didn't reason themselves into.

You might have triggered something else. I don't get that screen at startup.

Check to see if there might be some road debris or dirt on the sensor. I had it happen three times. Once snow, once mud, and once was a plastic bag

I'm wondering if that doesn't come on at every startup if you have it turned off. I'll try to remember to try it out tonight.
If that's the case, then turning it on shouldn't give you any kind of alarm at startup.

If you turn it back on, do you get any messages at start up? I'm betting since it is turned completely off, some government requirement makes Ford tell you, hey, this safety feature meant to save your life is not turned on. 😉

Thanks for the help

I bet it is the camera on the rearview mirror. This is on a Ford website about pre-collision and how it works.

The Pre-Collision Assist feature uses camera technology to detect a potential collision with a vehicle or pedestrian directly in front of yours during day or nighttime driving.

There are also sensors in the bumpers. All the new technologies they put in the cars can throw all sorts of codes and alarms. It could be anything really. Blocked sensor, loose wire, bad sensor, who knows. Look and the above listed items and it that doesn’t work take it to the dealership. I had service done on my wife’s Escape and afterwords it threw a message and the vehicle went into limp mode. They forgot to hook up one of the sensors. Two minute fix. What ever it may be it will be covered under warranty.

I do not get any notifications on my screen at start-up, but did have that setting on, and Low sensitivity.
Just turned it off completely, and get the exact same notification you see when I start it up.

So, if one of our Forescan guru's knows if this can be changed, you'll have to live with it unless you turn it back on.

I guess I'm curious why someone wouldn't just keep it on. Very rarely do I hear anything from it. Once in awhile it'll flash when I get to close to someone especially when they are turning and I go by them.

Mine has never alerted, but I've only had it since the end of Dec. In the wife's Explorer, I think it alerted once that I know of, and we've had it 3 years next month.

I know you can "dumb it down" in the head unit under settings I think. If I remember correctly i think it was High, med. and low intensity.

Thanks for all the help!
The notifications and chimes were super ackward.
I will try to change the sensibility and turn it on to see the difference.
Anyways would be awesome for forscan be able to remove the notification regardless.

Hi people I was driving the other day and my Bronco out of no where do the automatic braking when I had it turn it off with the pre collision on.
Then when again I use my car I find that the automatic braking doesn't keep being off.
Everytime I start my car it keeps turning on.
You had that problem too?
How you fixed it?

Most people do not turn it off. It's a safety feature that Ford wants you to use.

I'm not exactly sure what you are saying in your first sentence. The automatic braking alarm came on for no reason while you were moving?
