Has anybody heard if the rear seats of the 2dr bronco have easy release clips and can be removed with out too much hassle?

They are not made to be removed easily. Of course, anything can be removed, but it will take a little work to do it.

If it is not easily removable, with a clip or spring-loaded bracket, I'm cancelling my order. Well, maybe I won't cancel my order, but I'll wonder why they didn't make the rear seat as easy to remove as a 1972 International Scout.

Like the sarcasm but I have a Tahoe that has that and it makes it really nice, space wise and believe it or not better gas milage!! the reason Im getting a 2dr is it's just me and my dog most always, he's my navigator, so I was hoping to maximize the area behind us. maybe a Dometic fridge, Some bolt in equipment for overlanding...Wild Trak 2dr. 2022 carbon grey so I can order the white mod. roof. I have a reservation and I wanted just to be informed... wise ass

That makes a lot of sense to remove unwanted weight when not using that back row for better MPG. Great tip!

Yeah those seats are really heavy and it adds up plus u get all that room. If they are clip ons then if one of my sons and I are run-in about I can easily just add the clip on's and the seats aren't that heavy when my sons are lugging them from wherever I store them. Ha

Some pounds are more unwanted than others . . . especially around the mid section. :ROFLMAO:

@DadChris44 I removed the rear seats from my Wrangler and Scout and expect to remove the rear seat in the Bronco. No need to get your feathers ruffled.

Removing the seats will leave an odd shaped indent in the floor. A lot of future Bronco owners are talking about putting in something like this Goose Gear system that is currently available for the Wranglers.

yup, that was my thoughts about laying out a Goose Gear platform, I wonder though how would that affect the pull out tail gate. Would it also be under the installed floor? Im thinking yes. Really want that and the drop down tray on the tail gate. Have not heard anything about those 2 accessories.

Unfortunately, the slide out tailgate is only an option on the four door and it is late availability. I am unsure if it will even show up on the Build & Price prior to ordering.

The drop down tray should be an easy add if it’s not available right away and tons will be available in the aftermarket. I have seen some with bamboo boards that slide out to give you more space too.

I would love to see easily removable rear seats on the 2 door as well. My wife and I travel light (just us and our 2 dogs) and spend a good amount of time at the beach so having the rear seat out would be great. These are things one would think the new Bronc designers would think of...

I plan on building a flat cover with lockable storage in the indents and I found tool box drawer slides rated for 350 lbs each that should work for a drawer that fits in the space.
Anyone want to buy a pair of 2 door Bronco rear seats?

I almost forgot about that drop down tray. Definitely getting that for my camping excursions when available.

Don't get rid of those seats, missing rear seats is a major ding in trade-in/resale value

No sorry it wasn't you, it was Bronc 5.0. He's always got something great to say ...not but he seems like a good guy....

Reserved a 2-door and like many of you, just me and the dog 80% of the time. To be honest, this is one of the feature issues that pushes more toward a Wrangler instead. I am not a fan of needing to spend lots of money to rip out interior and lose modularity on a vehicle I just spent lots of money on, especially when a competitor has that problem solved. I am massively surprised they don't offer a solution to at least level the load floor, like a storage shelf insert. Seems like that's easy accessory money.
