Does anyone have any insight to this recall? Such as when there might be a fix.

“Assigned recall number 24V-142 by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the recall applies to 7,527 units of the 2023 and 2024 Bronco built between November 6 and December 6, 2023. Ford estimates that the problem is present in about 46% of the recalledmodels, and it adds that the Heritage Series version is not part of the recall because its windows have a different attachment mechanism.”

If your rig was built in that time window Ford will contact you, or if you have a good rapport with your dealer they can check for you

The blend date on my window sticker is 12/05/23. So it's right on the edge.

If you have FordPass, and if your Bronco is on the recalled list, you can click on the Service Tab at the bottom of the app, and then look for the Recall button. Any outstanding Recall or Customer Service Satisfaction Programs your vehicle falls under will be listed there.

Has anyone heard directly from Ford regarding this recall. I have seen it from NHISTA but not from Ford. I understand that a dealer will have the windows uninstalled and reinstalled by their glass company. It will take at least a day to do the process and have them cure. Anyone hear about Ford supplying a loaner vehicle or other form of transportation?"

I haven't heard a word from Ford directly. I am still waiting to see if mine falls into the recall.

I bought a new Bronco on 26 Feb but it had this recall so the dealer can’t deliver, and no one knows when they will be able to deliver. It’s a bit unknown at the moment.
Not sure when I’ll be able to drive it home.

A COMPLETE REPAIR PROCEDURE IS NOW AVAILABLE. FORD MOTOR COMPANY HAS AUTHORIZED YOUR DEALER TO REMOVE AND RE-INSTALL BOTH REAR QUARTER GLASS PANELS FREE OF CHARGE PARTS AND LABOR.

Just got a call from the dealer, they indeed have the information to proceed with the fix and should be ready to deliver next week.

I got an email from the dealer yesterday, my Bronco has been repaired. 😀

I have gotten my recall notice from Ford and they say the dealer will need the car for a half a day. How much time did your repair take?

I don't know how long because my Bronco was on hold when I bought it because of the recall. They could not release it until the recall was completed.
