Rear Quarter Window popping out? (Soft top)

Hi,

I've noticed that when I pop up the hatch to have greater access to the trunk, the right side rear quarter window comes out of its groove.
Super hard to put back in (found out it's easier if I lift the hatch, or whatever it's called, to have some slack, slide the window back in, then lower the hatch back).
Anyone has any tips?
(This is for a soft, clearly)

Hey,
I just had the same issue and was going to post a question about it and found your posting. I have had it happen twice now (different sides and at different times). I initially thought it happened the first time because I didn't put the side window back in properly. But it just happened again, and I have not had the top down for a few weeks, however, I did have the rear popped up for loading access a few days ago. I now believe it is from raising the rear for access that caused the issue both times. Oddly, on mine the side windows popped out a few days after each event.

I suppose the act of raising the rear for access loosens or displaces those side windows a little. I will have to make an effort to check the side window seals after I do it next time. But they shouldn't do that to begin with. My side window that popped out recently now doesn't have as tight of a seam as the other side does.

I wonder if anyone else has had this happen to their Bronco soft tops?

Bronco Nation: is there a fix? Any replacement windows that are reinforced?

Thanks,

I haven't had that problem. I will have to look closed. I have broken a least 1 plastic clip on each window though. None were broke when I put them in the bag I bought specially made for window storage. But, our last day of vacation brought rain and when we got them out of the bag, some had broke.

Has happened multiple times. Like suggested earlier, I believe it ties into opening the rear.

Brother in law laughing at me a few weeks ago when I told him about it and a few days after it happened to him.

I chalk it up to the soft tops being crap. A nuisance I have to deal with.
