Rear Bumper, Winch Capable-Looking for Info/opinions.

Looking to have a rear bumper with a winch (for my on order 24MY Black Diamond-non Squatch) and had some questions. Is such an aftermarket option worth the money? If so, what bumper/winch combo is recommended for light/moderate off road activity? Going a step further, I was looking at the Crawltek (?) bumper and winch mounting kit (any other mfgrs out there with a rear winch bumper?). I noticed that I had to ditch the exhaust from the axle back (the mounting plate fits in the area occupied by the muffler). What options are there for replacing/relocating what has to be removed? Custom bending? Flowmaster mufler under the body proper? No muffler at all? Thank you in advance!

I made my own front and rear bumper and used a 2" receiver mounted in the front with Molly tubing to strengthen it to the frame. Have my plate over the receiver in the front, and when off road, just slip it off. Did full wiring front to back so I can plug into the winch either way I need it. Works great, and still looks good.

Damn good looking fabrication! Unfortunately (for me!) my fabber skills aren`t even close. I could only hope to find someone to build it for me. Any pictures of the rear receiver? Does the rig clear the spare?

APG has a rear winch mount plate and bumper.

i don’t think there’s much magic in the bumper, so with some mods most any bumper should work with the APG winch mount. Here’s their winch plate with stock bumper.

Any muffler shop can relocate the exhaust with whatever exhaust components you want.

Unfortunately with the design of the Bronco (camera, acc and intercooler) there’s not much choice for a front winch unless you want a whale sticking out front.

TerryB, I can`t seem to find a way to share, but Google "BDS Bronco pickup", you will see BDS SEMA Bronco Reveal - Fire Command. Look through the video and you will see the reference to the Crawltek bumper/winch application (which I can`t seem to find, after having found it once).
