Yeah, a little shower here and there shouldn't kill it, but in my DD Z4 convertible I usually put my top up at work to keep out the possible rain, and prevent UV damage to interior plastic. Not sure how real that threat is, just something I worry about. And the black leather seats are hotter than the surface of the sun after a few hours directly exposed to the Alabama sun. If I ever get my Bronco, I plan on leaving the top off most of the year and just running a bimini to give shade and block most of the rain. But, I also have other vehicles to drive when the forecast is violent storms and leave a topless Bronco in the garage.
