I know the windows automatically roll down then back up some when closing/opening the door. What do you do if they're iced up? Will it hurt the motor to open the door knowing the windows can't roll down?

Same feature is on other ford vehicles and they work just fine through the winter. Don’t sweat it.

use cation in "freezing rain" situation, wife was at work in her leased BMW and we had a ice storm, never got the "whole story" from her but either when she opened the door or she shut it the window never moved and it ended up "spidering" the glass. nice thing about the MIC top is it looks like there is enough of a overhang to prevent this from happing I guess ill find out this winter

I had my Bronco most of this past winter. Im in western Connecticut and spend a fair amount of time up north in western Mass and VT. I can say from experience I had no issues.

If you Google, frameless windows in winter, you'll find a lot of issues with them; however, the Bronco hasn't been out very long and not everyone lives where this is a problem. There are things that help. Practice your Google-fu.

I've had mine since February in South Dakota. No issues with the windows at all. Mine is garaged at night which helps. I also have Rainex on my windows.
