Just a heads up—

Ford has some SiriusXM offers available via the FordPass app right now. 12 month free trial, $50 gift card for existing subscribers, etc. etc.

I personally got the $50 gift card, and now I get free SiriusXM for the next 4 months. So if you are among those who have largely abandoned terrestrial radio, but haven't embraced that streaming life... may be worth a look.

Should be available in the FordPass application on your phone, or on the Offers/Promotions page on the FordPass website.

Looks like 27,800 points for a year of service. I just got one year for $5 and change plus tax for the year. Tell them to cancel and you should get it also.

They won't stop calling me after I ended my service a year ago. Not going back. It's just too expensive.

That makes no sense... spend $50 in Ford Pass points to get $50 in Sirius/XM credit? That deal sucks.

Also, @Mandogus all you have to do is call to cancel it every 11 1/2 months. They'll give you an offer for either $5/month or $6.50/ month (something like that). I do it every year for the wife's Jeep and now my Bronco. Honestly I don't listen to Sirius, but if I have people in the Bronco I'll put it on so they aren't listening to my '80s Metal.

Yeah if you go with the gift card they don't give you a special point conversion rate, but if you got the points with nothing to spend them on... it still makes sense.

I had been stockpiling points for accessories, but uhh... to be honest... most of the accessories on Ford's website suck and those that don't can often be bought elsewhere for much cheaper. It would make sense if you could stack the FordPass points with the other discounts they frequently offer, but nah... you can't.

Some of you may already know this, but since these services do change over time, it is worth mentioning added capabilities. I like to listen to XM Radio when traveling around the southeast. With the subscription with your Bronco, you can tie your access to XM to your smartphone using an account on their smartphone App.

I access XM Radio while getting a little exercise hiking trails, and I can listen to whatever I want through my bluetooth headphones. I really like this capability of extending listening to XM while exploring outside my Bronco for the same subscription cost.

I haven't used them on accessories as of yet. But have bought the following with points:

1. Oil Change & Tire Rotation.
2. Front speaker grille (broke tab while swapping speakers, great Ford Quality).
3. Rear shock (yes when a shock goes at 42k miles out of warranty, used points to get replacement)(More great Ford Quality or Bilstein).
4. Headlight switch (eventually going to add factory fog light switch to my Base).
5. Bug deflector.

So I've definitely found uses for the points so far 😉

When I purchased my 2023 Bronco I received Reward Points and I redeemed them for these Ford accessories. I'm very pleased with them. My build came with carpeted floors so these rubber mats are making it so much easier for me to keep it clean with a quick vac. Being from Ford, they are engineered perfectly for my Bronco.

It's an added bonus that they have the finishing details like a Bronco emblem (same color as my Cactus Grey paint job, or seems to be), and the "BRONCO" badging on the floor mat.

I purchased a Lifetime Subscription for my 2007 Mustang GT California Special when Sirius/XM offered them back then, it was $400.00 payable over a six month period. When I sold my Mustang back in April, I transferred the subscription to my 2022 Bronco Badlands.

Jealous.

I primarily listen to rock, and back when they were offering lifetime subscriptions there were REALLY good rock radio stations in my state. Classic rock, modern rock, hard rock, alternative, etc... something for everyone. So I felt like satellite just wasn't work the cost. (One of those radio stations was WCCC which, for those unaware, was a really good hard rock radio station were Howard Stern got his start prior to moving to satellite radio.)

Of course within 2-5 years all of those radio stations changed programming, ownership, etc. and now radio sucks. WCCC in particular just completely bombed and is now a contemporary Christian station. 😩

I let my XM trial expire, then was able to take advantage of the 3-yrs for $99 offer, that does not auto renew. taxes and fees came to $120 for 3yrs of XM.

Yeah the endless unsolicited calls and letters. They can't take a hint. Why would I pay for something I never use and that cuts out anytime you drive under a shadow?
