Really enjoy having the new Ford bronco 2023 black diamond. I have two original keys and bought two more to program them. Attached is a picture from the owners manual on how to program additional keys provided you have your two original keys. I have tried and tried and followed the directions, but I can’t seem to program additional keys. I think one of the problems is step five it says to put the remote in press the ignition switch wait five seconds press the ignition switch again. then it says to keep the ignition on for at least three seconds but no more than 10 and then take the key out. Are they implying that the engine is running? Because initially it doesn’t say to put your foot on the break when you press the ignition switch. if anybody can interpret this or supply a better set of instructions, I would appreciate it. I know I can go to the dealer and have them do it or I could call a locksmith and have them do it but the owners manual implies that I can do it on my own and I really don’t want to spend money if I don’t have to if anybody has experience and had frustration but eventually gotten this done I would really appreciate any help anyone could provide .

I'll admit, I didn't read what you posted for the manual, but I was going to guess that you use the "hidden" key pocket to do all this. And without starting the Bronco. Then I found this video, seems to be what I was thinking. I'd say check it out and see if it helps.

This other video isn't too bad either.

so I don't know. Maybe a combination of the 2 videos.

Thank you for your assistance this video did not work, but after I viewed, I watched another video on YouTube on the same page and it didn’t work. But then I read some of the comments on the other video and I found the key when you put the third key into program and you hit the ignition button, there’s a several second delay before the the car makes a chiming noise and gives you the message. The key has been programmed. so it’s really weird because now this key works and starts the bronco and it looks just like the bronco key without the logo but the lock unlock and remote start buttons won’t work but yet it’ll start the vehicle go figure.

It sounds like you may have the wrong fob for your Bronco since it doesn’t have the Bronco script on the back. Today I received a fob with the script that I had ordered from NorthCoastKeyless.com. I followed the programming instructions you also have and it programmed easily my first attempt. All functions work the same as the factory fobs.

Well. I tried one of those aftermarket fobs stating it will work for my 21 Bronco...no dice.
Looked up my fob on ford parts by vin and found out my build date used a fob with two frequencies. Ordered it for 49 bucks shipped. Programmed first time and all functions work perfectly. Just do not have a "CUT" key with it.
So check your Ford part numbers then cross reference to avoid the anomaly I encountered.
I'll bet this other one will work on a different Bronco other than that 5 month build date window my 21 is in.
21 Badlands, 2 dr, four banger, slushbox, SAS. PERFECT!
