Priority Code Question

Anybody have real info on priority codes? My order (on 3/11/21) was originally shown by screenshot from dealer as priority 19.
After update to 2022 (per Ford instruction) dealer screen shot shows priority 99. Dealer tells me ALL priority codes are 99
and he cannot change them. Another dealer says he always submits orders with priority 10 and priority 99 tells to Ford not to schedule.
Looking for 3rd (or more) opinion before I try changing dealers.

priority 99 means do not build you need to have a talk with your dealer

I ordered mine in November and was assigned a number 19 code, but I've gathered that they're meaningless when it comes to the Bronco. BUT, I also heard that 99 is tantamount to you never placing an order. So, I would consider another dealer. Hopefully, there's another one in your area that will give you straight talk and not insult you with lies.
Chris here. I drive a 2-door Velocity Blue 2023 Ford Bronco Badlands with Sasquatch, Lux, a 2.7L V6, and an automatic transmission. It’s fun.

Your dealer is an idiot, a 99 is DO NOT Build!! 10-19 are build priority codes and absolutely 100% a dealer CAN CHANGE a Priority code from anything 10-19 or 99 as they did for some unknown reason, so right now you are not getting a build date anytime soon until that 99 si removed

The dealer is flat out wrong or lying. They absolutely can move orders from 99 to 10-19. As a matter of fact they HAVE to manually adjust the 99 to the aforementioned range or your Bronco simply won’t be built. Ask to speak to the sales manager or whomever enters/oversees the order process. It’s absolutely mind blowing how little some employees know about their own products and processes. I literally had to educate my dealership.

Do you have any option that would make your build a 2023, like painted hard top? That would make it a 99

WOW! A pretty resounding BS on the dealer. Thanks to all for the responses. I will offer my dealer an ultimatum immediately.

Latest from my dealer (please excuse the grammer - not mine but a quoted email):
"All of my broncos have been left in 99 status until they are scheduled at which point they automatically changed to 19. This is not just the case for Bronco's but for all Ford vehicles, not just for special orders but also general inventory purposes. I fully understand your frustration as I myself canceled my order due to the long wait. I have finally started to have a number of them get scheduled so I am hoping that all of them are that way soon but there is nothing I can do to hasten the process or trust me when I say I would have already done so. If you would like to cancel your order I can still do so up until the vehicle is scheduled."

This is what happened With my dealership and the process since I first placed my order back in February. They made it a priority code of 10. That way if and when Ford got to me they would know to build it. When the constraint issues came up I asked my sales manager if we should just change it to a priority code of 99 and she told me “no, you want to leave it as a priority code of 10” ”because if for some reason they were able to get to you this year, they would build it” “if it was a 99 it would not get built, leave it as it is and we would resubmit it as a MY 22 if and when we need to”.
And that is exactly what we did. If I did not want it built, say to wait for a painted modular top, then make it a 99.

Caught this video today. 99 means don't build. This is for people who want to get an order in early, but it's before a special version is out so they can just call, have the salesman add that version, and convert it to build order. All the reservations get converted to a 99, because you need to confirm what you wanted when you reserved is what you still want.

10-19 are numbers that should work

Maybe I don't know how it works then. "All of my broncos have been left in 99 status until they are scheduled at which point they automatically changed to 19."

Why would Ford schedule something that's a 99 "don't build"? Who automatically changes to a 19?

I feel sorry for the people who were made a 99 and then got notified that their builds were never put in. That is specifically why Ford sent that notice to the dealers and order holders telling them to get the orders submitted by the cut off date. Now they are SOL. Especially some FE order holders who were hoping to get the painted modular tops and didn’t realize what was gonna happen. And then you see FE’s popping up at dealerships for a minimum of 25K ADM!

Is there a build order to the 10-19. 10 first or 19 first or anything that is known?

From everything I've been able to find on the internet is that the numbers 10 through 19 are a signal from the particular DEALER the order they want the manufacture to process the orders from them on a day. This would allow dealers to control the order things are processed should they want to do that. So if a dealer always uses 19, then that is the same as a dealer that always uses 10. Maybe they might use 19 all the time so that if some big emergency comes in they can throw it through at a 10 which would jump that to the front of the line for that DEALER's orders?

With the Bronco NO, 10-19 are not like other models where it would technically be a true priority. The Bronco doesn't matter if I have a 10 or yours is 18 from the same dealer, Broncos are not following that as it was supposed to be by reservation, but then shortages came into play.
