Anyone hear of similar situations? Picking up my son from school, our Bronco just stopped. Didn't shut off, but I wasn't able to move. RPM's were above 6k, check engine light came on after a few moments, and I couldn't move. After a few tries of turning it off then on again, I was finally get it to move enough to get out of the road. The alert I got on my Ford app was Powertrain Malfunction/Reduced Power. After the dealer looked at it they determined we need a new transmission. It's been two weeks and the backorder date keeps moving out (at least another 3 weeks). 2,100 miles on a 2022 Badlands with a 2.3L engine. I LOVEEE my Bronco, like obsessed. But I can't get this feeling out of my head that I'm going to be nervous driving it after it's replaced. Hoping it's just a bad transmission and not a "common" problem.
