Have I missed paddle shifters in the contents? Drove my wife's 2021 Explorer tonight and the paddle shifters with the 10spd auto is quite nice. With a $60k+ Wildtrak paddle shifters should be standard on the 10 spd auto without mention given he Wildtrak trim level description is "high speed offroad".

If paddle shifters are not in the current offerings, then Please FORD include them!

I heard bronco does not have paddle shifters. Maybe the Warthog or Raptor version will?

Following. The paddles will make a great difference on the auto option.

That is what I was afraid of, matched the Jeep wrangler competition. I don't understand, since when is a true On and Off Road capable vehicle not considered a drivers enthusiast vehicle?

My BMW has paddle shifters and I rarely use them. As fun as they sound.

Same with our Mustang GT with the same 10 speed.

My Jeep GC has them, never use them. They only time I actually have as when I was playing with the trail crawl cruise control thing, and you adjusted the speed using the paddles. Other than that sport mode has been more than sufficient.

We have 2 vehicles with paddle shifters and I use them every time I drive them, not all the time, just when I need to hold a gear or for additional assisted braking. On the wrangler I'm using the manual mode -/+ on the shifter and it would be much nicer to have paddles. FYI, the just released Rubicon 392 has paddle shifters...

On my Raptor the paddle shift is a complete waste. The delay in shifting causes it to hit the rev limiter. You have to hit the paddle early to avoid the limiter. Slowest paddle I have ever encountered.

Want to shift? They offer a manual for that. My wife’s Explorer has paddle shifters and they are worthless 95% of time and would be 100% worthless if I could just downshift the damn thing like old autos. I have an auto Badlands ordered (need the 2.7 since I’ve been beating on V8s my entire life), but I’ll keep all my Mustangs around when I feel the need to shift on my own.

I like the paddle shifters on my Raptor. Most of the feed back I've seen on the Raptor forums matches the above comments - they are not used that much. However I live at 8600 feet and they are great for downshifting when coming down the mountain. Saves on braking all the time. Agree, the shifts are a bit slow and when downshifting the engine is automatically rev'ed to match RPM for the shift - which takes some getting use to. I'd like to see the option on the Bronco.

Also, when wheeling my Rubicon I would use the manual mode a lot when crawling. Paddle shifters would make that easier and more intuitive.

Paddles are not on MY21, maybe they can add it for MY22?

I use the paddles on my raptor in Drive to limit the top gear sometimes. If i want it to hold a gear longer I usually just use sport mode (which badlands is missing).
