My Bronco is about 95 miles away, as the crow flies! But as you know, these puppies have to stick to the ground (rails, to be precise), so it's actually about 147 miles away. See? Drone delivery would be much better! 😜

Now located in Wenatchee, Washington, on the other side of the Cascade mountain range. I'ts VERY close! Painfully so.

It's ok -- what you all don't know is that BN membership comes with a call to your bosses and families the week your Bronco is showing up. We make arrangements for you to be slightly off with them. It's an unlisted perk ;) lol

What Dreams are Made of!

A Bronco Story that ends with a Bronco.
When I first heard of this amazing vehicle (the Bronco) I was amazed at what I saw and read, I was soon overcome by so many thoughts on how to get this vehicle, let alone "how was I going to tell Donna this."
The Date was March 10th 2021 when I made the final decision that I was going to do whatever it takes to get me a Squatched Bronco, now the easy part was over, now onto the hard part, how to tell Donna that I want to spend $51,000⁰⁰.........
I pondered for days trying to figure the best approach to asking "no" telling her that I wanted a Bronco......hmmmmm
Started with "check out that commercial, it's a Bronco, Wowww, that thing looks so cool" with every news article that I could find, I would always bring it back up about how awsome this thing is, it wasn't to much longer that I started getting the eyes rolling, looks like she was tired of hearing about it.
I have over the last couple of days since I first heard about the Bronco (Yes, I was very late in knowing about the Bronco) started telling the Neighbors about how I would love to get one, but not sure how to let Donna know about it.
The Date now is March 22nd 2021 I finally decided to just come out with it, the worst thing that could happen is that she says we can't afford it!
"Here we go" (pause) "deep breath" (pause)
"Sweetheart, if I was to work more overtime, and sell some of stuff downstairs we don't need anymore, and I would save as much as I can for a downpayment".......... (pause) "would you let me get a Bronco, I promise I will work as much overtime that they will allow me to have, and I will........ .and I will.........and I will..........and I promise to"..........Pause...Pause.... (Me) "Gulp"......Pause..... She turns and looks at me and says, "As long as I can pick the color and drive it home from the Dealership" (Me) "What" .......pause.......
"You already knew I was going to ask" (her) "Yup" (Me) I started to breathe normal again........
"So what color did you have in mind" (her) "I was thinking the Blue or that number one" (me) "oh, Area 51" ......."I guess" .......
The very next day I put in my Reservation and paid my $100⁰⁰ and on March 23rd the Dealership called me and I went in and made my Reservation.

Price protection from Ford was up to March 19th 2021......
I missed the Price Protection by 4 days because I was trying to figure out how I was going to tell the wife. However in the end I did end up with a price protection even though Ford doesn't call it that any more.

My Time Line after I put my Order in at the Dealership!

03/23/2021 Original Reservation and Order A few days later Order was put into the system.

October 13th of 2021 reorder for a 2022 Bronco.

Feburary 16th 2022 I decided to Order a Jeep and which ever vehicle came first would be my Dream Vehicle, still stayed with Bronco Nation on and off for a couple of times.
March 25th 2022 Jeep arrives at the Dealership.
March 28th 2022 picked up my Jeep Wrangler Willys and disappeared from Bronco Nation for a while, checked in occasionally to see what's going on at Bronco Nation, and came back after I was missed by so many.
Never canceled my Bronco order, I don't have a clue why not, maybe something deep inside said leave it alone.
240 Miles in noticed gas fumes coming from the Jeep........

(This point I will make 3 months into just a few words)

After taking my jeep in for the 4th time I decided to get a lawyer, I took the jeep in an additional 3 more times and I still kept my Bronco order going for a MY2023........ something inside told me to keep it going, so I did.
3 ½ Months with working with the Lawyer we finally had a resolution, for Chrysler to buyback the Jeep.

Order Banks were scheduled to start August 15th then pushed August 29th then finally opened September 12th of 2022 for an MY2023 Bronco

9/23/2022 put my order in for the 3rd time for a 2023

9/27/2022 order confirmed for a MY2023

10/ 06/2022 Scheduled for Production 11/14/2022

10/11/2022 Scheduled for Production has Changed to 11/28/2022

11/23/2022 Received my Window Sticker through Ford E-Mail

12/05/2022 Your Bronco has been Built

12/14/2022 Your 2023 Bronco rolled off the Assembly Line

12/19/2022 Arrived at the Dealership

12/29/2022 picked up my Bronco from the Dealership

01/04/2023 Dropped off the Jeep for a Payoff/Payout and I ended up with my Dream Vehicle just as it was supposed to happen.

I just want to say, in my heart I knew which vehicle I wanted the whole time and so did someone else high up above, and my Dreams came true......🙂

I LOVE your story. Man, if there was anyone who was DESTINED to get a Bronco, it is you, my friend. I'm so happy you were able to make this a reality. You will make many great memories with it and your wonderful wife! 😍

My own story is still unfolding. My Bronco is still aboard a train in Wenatchee, Washington, on the eastern side of the Cascadia mountain range dividing eastern and western Washington state. It's taking a break after its cross-country journey. It's plumb-tuckered out and is enjoying some fresh oats and hay before getting underway. I'm sharing this trip with @sambarner. Her Bronco is sharing the same railcar as mine! Small world, huh? Sharing a train ride with a fellow Bronco Nation member. We'll both be moving along shortly. Roughly 147 miles to go... We got this.

I was told from the person I dealt with, that one of 2 things will happen, no matter what the Dealership can’t sell it, the vehicle will be picked up by Chrysler and brought back for evaluation and to see what all was replaced on the vehicle and then fixed as necessary.
Or:
1st used as a test vehicle.
2nd sold at an auction.
I will tell you though the vehicle has been fixed and whoever gets it will have an amazing vehicle, I just was heartbroken over the whole thing that I can’t look at that vehicle as being my Dream Vehicle.
Deep down in I knew which vehicle was going to be my Dream vehicle, that’s why I did not accept anything below $10,000°° as compensation for the trouble I went through….

If I was to make up a story like that you would recognize flaws all through it, you would most definitely know that there are lies spread all throughout it…. I was never good at telling lies, or am I 🤔
I could be telling lies as we speak, but I’m not! or am I 🤔
The only person I have ever told a lie to is the State PO PO….. Do you know why I pulled you over sir?……pause….. as I look at my Speedometer, and look at the officer…… “I have no Idea” 🤔
I think the giveaway was when I looked at my speedometer, I have a pretty good feeling that they are trained in this. 🤣
The next time this happens I think what I’ll do is when he says “Do you know why I pulled you over sir”?
I am going to turn around and look in the back seat, I have a funny feeling that he will think I had someone with me and I got rid of them…….😂🤣
