Close. I appreciate the compliment. I would have actually said that it was written by Neil Peart of Rush for their Moving Pictures album. A concert tour which I actually attended, as well as several other Rush concerts. They were unbelievable. Every song sounds like the studio recordings. They were so precise with everything. Another musical talent that died too soon. He loved motorcycles. He would have a motorcycle while they were traveling during tours and ride it from city to city at times. Sad loss for the drumming community.

I was at that tour. It was real good. We've seen them a few times as well. Neil did a drum solo in YYZ. I think that was 1982?

This sound familiar to some of us? I played sports, but hung out with some of the wrong crowd. Peer pressure. Conform or be cast out. My coach kept an eye on me and tried keeping me on the straight and narrow. I strayed at times, but he pulled me back in line. He was a big influence in my life. I had long hair and earrings. He couldn't believe it when I came back from basic training and walked into the gym in my MP uniform. He dropped the softball that he threw at us if we screwed up and walked over and hugged me, and said that he never expected this from me. He was floored when I walked into the gym in my police uniform! I credit him with a lot for how I turned out, as well as my mom and dad. My dad was also a police officer.

I actually got turned around (lost) in a cornfield as a young lad while playing hide and seek. Ended up on the back side of it to the unplanted field and followed the dirt trail back to the fence and then followed that back home. Seemed like it took forever but back then no one looked for u as long as u were home by supper. 🤣
