I attended a recently discharged Marine's wedding yesterday. At the reception, my son, a few of his platoon mates, and I were assigned the same table. A few wives and dates graciously put up with a whole lot of Jarhead shoptalk. We ran from E-2 (me) to 0-2 (almost 0-3, my son), and a few EM ranks in between. Interestingly, I was the only one to have ever seen combat, but the others were 0311s.
Also, interestingly, the groom was geared up, locked & loaded and on the tarmac in Spain 09/11, 2012, when the US consulate in Ben Gazi was attacked. As you know, the corruptocrats never sent the Marines quick-response unit.

Apparently I wasn't supposed to leave today. Had a sick crew member so I drove all day reading meters. We are only a three man crew.
Looks like zero dark thirty is the new launch window.
Thank goodness it is only a 9 1/2 hour drive plus the hour I lose. Woohoo I love a good challenge. A decent sleep and a mug of high test in the morning and zoom zoom.
