I was looking around at some off road campers. There are a LOT of them. Not just the roof types but pull behind campers. Lets see what you guys/gals like. You see to have good tastes!

We've been looking lately at small camping trailers that are built rugged. We're not looking for an extreme off-road trailer that can be pulled on actual trails but we do want an inside kitchen and small wet bath (shower and toilet combined). The smallest one we've found is the nuCamp Tab S 320 with Boondock package. It's a very well made and well thought out little teardrop. At 3000 lb GVW it should be easily towed by a new Bronco. We're planning on an Alaska trip in 2022 and this trailer is at the top of our list right now. It's built rugged enough to be pulled on rough dirt roads and even some very mild trails. The cassette toilet is a nice feature.

I like the Mean Bean https://beantrailer.com/mean-bean-off-road/ for a smaller (albeit more expensive) option and the BushWhacker Plus https://www.braxtoncreek.com/models for more space and amenities.

Here is one I used to have. It is 18' and I ordered it with a 3" lift! It did go off road on easy trails. But, it wasn't made for off-roading.

I do have a passion for camping. I like camping 12 months per year in states with snow and ice. That can limit my options. My current setup consists of an F150 and Oliver Elite II. Both are great together. The Oliver is a true four-season camper with a dual hull design but weighs in at 4800lbs dry. The F150 was built to handle 11,500lbs, so not an issue. Although I have taken them off-road, they prefer pavement. I will keep both long-term.

The Bronco should enjoy towing an Overkill TK47 which will weight in at approximately 1100lbs based on options selected. The TK47 should easily follow the Bronco. To validate that assumption, Rove Rentals in North Caroline has a TK47. If I like the Bronco, I may rent a TK47 and test the pair. If the test is successful, I will order one to be built and drive to Oregon to take delivery.

As we have all discovered during this past year, plans can be altered. So, my plans are tentative at best! :)
