First video of the new Mod top window removal I have viewed 😎. I like it. Looks like Ford has done some great water proofing the window opening, as well.

pretty smart idea because tons of people are going to break the window and have to order replacements.

Don't forget to order the special Bronco Rear Window Padded Store 'N' Tote bag, your install won't be complete otherwise! 😖

Ford should make a retrofit kit for the MIC just for making us wait so long...
No salt tram towers were harmed in the making of this post...

Ohhhhh, super cool feature, but I didn't realize you'd needed to use tools to remove the windows. I thought it was just a little quarter turn latches similar to the MIC hard top panel and the latching mechanism on old school wing windows.

Having to use tools kinda kills the convenience factor for me. I would probably remove the windows once, say to myself "that's cool", and then likely never remove them again. Weird to admit how lazy I am, but just the added step of having to dig the tool kit out would probably be enough of a deterrent for me (judging by how often I've considered taking off the doors before ultimately deciding it was too much work).

Probably for the best though, I could absolutely see myself dropping that window and watching it shatter into a million pieces.

Now I'm curious how the gunner hatch works on the 2-door. Wonder if that's tool-less or if it too will require tools to remove.

I was too. The Jeep with that roll-back roof, their side windows pop out with toggles. It's super easy.

Somewhere--on the other site, I think--there was a vendor's thread on a vented steel replacement which you would lift up on a hinge. It would stay open with a gas-filled pistons. To more than a few ha-ha's, I wondered if some person inside was selling coffee or ice cream. Maybe the Red Cross would like this arrangement for delivering coffee and doughnuts to disaster relief workers?
