Did a Zone Off road 2" level lift on the BIL's Bronco. Once we figured out the "best" way to do each corner it wasn't too bad to install. Will take a good day though. Afterwards he put 295's on it. Not bad for a spacer lift and think the list is only like $100.

His Bronco now sits higher than my BaseSquatch.

Looks good @EvlNvrDys
Personally, I am not a fan of spacer lifts as they typically create suspension droop due to the extended travel created. As you may know, this change in geometry can create premature wear on the ball & CV joints . Be sure to keep an eye out for these potential problems. (y)

I hear ya. He won't be going off road, but will periodically inspect his suspension. And hopefully swap it out for new coilovers at some point. Spacer lifts are cheap, but I agree, not the best thing to do.

I told him to buy the squatch suspension thru the parts department as someone on B6G did that awhile back for like $1300 all in. But he wasn't ready to try that route.

Even saw someone selling their Squatch take off for like $1,000. I've been hassling @NickP over here to get the BN webmaster to set up a portion of the forum where people can buy/sell/trade takeoffs! ;)

I thought about that kit. The spacer lift changes the position of the shock piston in the shock allowing for extra droop. This could add wear or damage your shock depending on how hard the truck is driven. If primary on road…ehhh…probably no problem at all.

I do like it though for $100. I lifted my ‘15 f150 and done tons of suspension work so I think I could knock it out fairly easy. Then change to the Ford Coilovers or install the SAS down the road.

Not really feeling my dealership. They want everything put on by them and ford or Ford performance parts. To stay under warranty. So other than lights that's my plans for now.

I'll probably go with the Ford Performance coil-overs at some point. If the price is within reason. The price for the Ranger kit is under $1500 so hopefully the Bronco set will be comparably price.

If not I'll probably source out a set of Sasquatch take-offs. I've seen them already for under $1k.

I did the 4WP lift/level kit on my OBX. No change in ride quality. I'll probably change the coil-overs eventually but this suits me for now.

Cool, retro look you got going! Was this the 1” front level, or front and rear?

Thanks!

It's 2.5" front and 1.5" rear.

Just measured my BL. Almost exactly 1” higher in rear (unloaded-measured flare to wheel). Does that difference exist on those with BL-Sasquatch?

Thinking the 1” level just to correct the stance…

When your non-sas comes from the factory it has a 1" rake (front lower than rear). Common practice by manufactures for visibility and aerodynamics. Make sure you use a "Forscan" to change the computer setting if you change tire size. Otherwise your odometer and speedometer will be off.

You do not have to use the same dealership for service as you purchase your Bronco from. Find a good service department that will treat you right. These vehicles are made to be modded. Just look in the fender of one, it tells you to lift it. There literally is the words lift me baby in there. Or something like that. It doesn’t say lift me with only Ford parts.

I like what you have going on there but please get some proper shackles! Those ‘biners will snap and throw schrapnel under any real load and either cause personal or property damage!
