Nice Slick GMRS Radio Install

Hello Bronco Nation,

Recently discovered some negatives in regards to a handheld GMRS. Thought I'd share a video showing one way to install a GMRS radio. I (almost) followed the same install as Trail Recon, with a better mic mount solution.

I'm going to use that mount as well. I plan on mounting a MXT 575 and a Yaesu FT8800 mobile. Haven't quite figured out where each will go yet.

I mounted mine with the MTM above the glove box too. I did mount the plug connector on the underside of the dash here. The connector I used is in the picture too. Amazon Penglin

I was wondering how to solve for this after attending the Off-Rodeo event in Moab and using their radios on the trails. Thanks to all the contributors for the great ideas here!
