Navy Pier Actual Materials vs Navy Pier Computer Simulation

It is funny that I am spending so much money on a car that I really don't know how it will look when I get it! :unsure::LOL:

I think the Navy Pier leather in the Bronco Materials Walkthrough video looks great. The cartoon computer simulation in the price & build, however, leaves a lot to be desired. It’s not a good representation and is probably one of the reasons why so many people have a disdain for the Navy Pier interior. I agree, though, that blue & grey interior simply does not go with a red or orange exterior. I love the orange Bronco, but NOT with Navy Pier. My choice for FE is Area 51 which will look great with Navy Pier. I agree there should be a second interior option that will go well with red and orange. There also needs to be some kind of FE badging on the interior.

Maybe its because I live in Arizona and I see so much U of A branded gear all over the place (red and navy blue colors), but I actually really like the combo of the Rapid Red with the Navy Pier interior. If I were getting a FE, that is definitely the combo that I would go with!

Great point! Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Which colors “match” and what looks great is a matter of personal taste. You can bet some of those Denver Bronco fans won’t mind driving an orange and blue Ford Bronco, either. Maybe that’s why I hate those two colors together - I’m a Kansas City Chiefs fan, lol.

I get that color and selection is "in the eye of the beholder" and the person paying the tab......but try telling your friends and telling them you paid $60K+ for it! Then......just wait for it.....and if you're really, really quiet you can hear the laughter in their heads! Don't get me wrong, I get that its my choice and thats who it should matter too......but come on, red, cyber-orange, even cactus grey with Navy Nonsense?! Ugh Sorry, just a personal opinion so I apologies if you don't like it.

I'm on the fence with my FE reservation. I like CG a bit more but with that interior its got to be A51, which means most everyone will pick that selection.:(

Navy Nonsense......you wouldn't pass art class with that selection and most of the exterior colors offered.......but in the real world, you're going to pay $60K+ for it!o_O

Worse yet, I'm an Eagles fan and will be driving a FE sitting on Dallas colored seats... :eek:

Welp... Navy Pier confirmed as the only choice for the First Edition.

I asked the question about tow hitch availability on the FE but it was not answered. However, it was stated that the tow hitch will be available on ALL models except the Base. So hopefully that means the FE 4 Door and the B&P is a mistake.

On the phone with my First Edition, wife asks who I'm talking to. It's my FE. At this hour, my wife says. The wife says what are you wearing First Edition? Navy Pier Interior, my FE responds. Wife says, it sounds hideous.

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure Navy Nonsense is the right choice for someone but I'm not into car collecting or spending money on stuff that I see no value in. I get that its a spec'ed out rig but that to me means I should be able to pick how I want it.....not a color selection my 10th grade art teacher would have failed me out of class for.

I'm in the same boat. Interior, tops, and exterior colors is what has killed the FE and the alternative trims for me. So I could get everything the FE has with the Badlands or close with the WT, but the interiors kill it for me. During their Q&A on Friday they pretty much said, this is the first iteration of the Bronco and more changes/options will come in the future. I don't need to have a Bronco so bad that I need to sacrifice what I want. Bronco is back and in 2 to 3 years it will be a well refined machine.

I was going to reach out to the dealer and see if it's better to cancel or still order, but not take delivery. Give them an opportunity to get an FE on their lot.

Spot on! I'm thinking exactly that. I wanted the painted black hard top and if given the options, I'll take a late delivery. I'm in no hurry to be the first guy on the block with a new Bronco. It's not a status thing, its a money thing....and IF I'm paying that much, I'd expect to get it how I want it.

I'm sure people have the coin to drop on this thing but I've never in my life even considered paying this much for a rig I plan to use as intended. The original plan was, Its going to be my dirt/adv bike recovery vehicle, camping RV and escape from society vehicle....NOT A MALL ROVER! I've looked at a Rubicon and I juuuuust barely got to the point where I'd have to keep one eye closed and hit the "Buy Now" button........In my head, justifying the purchase by telling myself, "I'm planning to hang on to it for a long, long time". Now, with that said.....Ford tells me, sorry but if you like that exterior color you only get this interior color.....cheers. :( (n)

Agreed and then agree even more haha ... I’m ordering a loaded WT with interior and exterior colors that actually go together haha ... I can live without the silly FE stickers.
