Took a trip to Corpus Christi for my God sons Graduation. so while we were there we took the opportunity to visit one of the countries best kept secrets. Padre Island National Seashore, Is the longest stretch of un populated barrier Island in the world. "Padre Island National Seashore separates the Gulf of Mexico from the Laguna Madre, one of a few hypersaline lagoons in the world. The park protects 66 miles of coastline, dunes, prairies, and wind tidal flats teeming with life. It is a safe nesting ground for the Kemp’s ridley sea turtle and a haven for over 380 bird species." we only drove about 15 miles since we had to get back home. it was very foggy start to the trip at 12:30pm so it made for some slow going at times. we did see a Carb grey 4door while driving the beach.
found a nice spot to take some pictures and splash around in the water a tad. it was a great adventure.

I did find an interesting issue. since the beach was damp I did not need 4 wheel drive for most of the drive but cruising down the beach in normal mode with no lane markers just dark tan sand the collision assist sensor got confused and it kept saying that it was dirty and I need to clean it but it was clean once we got back to pavement she was good again. anyone else have that issue?

Not that specifically, but the sensor gets a little ... dramatic ... sometimes.
