My 2022 bronco transmission is slow to engage in reverse when I first start in morning. About 1/2 the times that my bronco has sat in my garage over night, the next morning I crank to back out, I put it into reverse and it sits there non engaged-spinning for about 5 or more seconds before moving/engaging. Once engaged, it is normal; I back out and drive as usual. My guess is transmission fluids drain out over night and have to cycle back into it to engage. My concern is I have never owned a relatively new vehicle that does this-they all immediately engaged, however years ago when a transmission was slipping/going out it would do that. Ford dealer says simply I have to wait 5-10 seconds after cranking before putting into reverse. They replaced transmission and both have done this.

We would be happy to look into this for you. Could you please send us a DM with your VIN and mileage so I can investigate this further?

I just had my transmission replaced under Ford's CSP warranty (extended warranty), it was doing the same thing when cold.

When you say spinning, I'm assuming you mean you have your foot on the gas in gear and it's not going in reverse?

I've not experienced this with any of the Broncos I've driven/owned, but by the time I'm in gear and reversing, it's been over 10 seconds.

I also had a delay and what felt like a hit in changing up to the next gear during take off, but it would be almost normal if I let it warm up first.
